摘要: An electromagnetic device may include a magnetic flux core and an opening through the magnetic flux core. A conductor winding may be received in the opening and extend through the magnetic flux core. An electrical current flowing through the conductor winding generates a magnetic field about the conductor winding and a magnetic flux flow about the opening in the magnetic flux core. The electromagnetic device may also include a core flux sensor arrangement to detect a magnetic flux level in the magnetic flux core. The electromagnetic device may additionally include a core flux control system configured to adjust the electrical current flowing through the conductor winding to control the magnetic flux level in the magnetic flux core.

摘要: A transformer comprising columns, wherein each of the columns comprises a magnetic material, a length axis, an upper end, and a lower end, an upper yoke in contact with the upper end and a lower yoke in contact with the lower end, wherein at least yokes comprises two parallel sub-yokes and a yoke connector connecting the two parallel sub-yokes, at least one primary winding on at least one of the columns configured to produce alternating magnetic flux in a closed magnetic circuit defined by the columns and the yokes, at least one secondary winding on at least one of the columns, and at least one control winding on the yoke connector, wherein the at least one control winding is configured to produce direct magnetic flux in a closed magnetic circuit defined by the yokes and the respective yoke connector, wherein the respective yoke connector is in a magnetically symmetrical position.

摘要: DC power is converted by an inverter to high-frequency power, which is supplied to the primary winding of a neon transformer. One or more neon tubes are connected in series across the secondary winding of the neon transformer. A saturable reactor is connected across the secondary winding or the neon transformer. The saturable reactor has a characteristic that its magnetic flux is saturated when the output voltage from the secondary winding of the neon transformer increases 1.1 to 2.0 times the rated voltage.

摘要: A signal conditioner for a linear variable differential transformer having a first amplifier which senses the differences in amplitude between secondary alternating current voltages in the two secondaries respectively, and a second amplifier which compares the phase of the difference signal from the first amplifier with the phase of one of the secondary alternating voltages. A conditioned signal A.sub.out is output by the signal conditioner according to the equation A.sub.out =K.sub.1 V.sub.s1 +K.sub.2 (V.sub.s1 -V.sub.s2) where K.sub.1 and K.sub.2 are constants, and V.sub.s1 and V.sub.s2 are instantaneous voltages across the respective secondaries.
