    摘要: A one-handed joystick for excavators allows an operator to make all necessary motions with a single hand and arm for manipulating an excavator tool. The one-handed joystick includes a rotatable cylinder bar, a rotatable ring and an industrial joystick base. The rotatable cylinder bar is grasped with a hand. The industrial base is moved front to back, or right to left. The following are preferable hand/arm motions. A downward hand curl is associated with a bucket digging motion; an upward hand curl is associated with a bucket dump; a forearm forward push is associated with a boom/stick extension; a forearm reward pull is associated with a boom/stick retraction; a left-hand movement is associated with swinging the excavator left; a right-hand movement is associated with swinging the excavator right; a clockwise hand twist is associated with a stick/boom extension; and a counter clockwise hand twist is associated with a stick/boom retraction.

    摘要: A force feedback interface device is coupled to a host computer that displays a graphical environment, the device including a user manipulatable object physically contacted and moveable by a user. A sensor detects a position of the user object and provides a sensor signal to the host computer, where the sensor signal includes information representative of the position of the user object. An actuator is coupled to the device or user object and outputs a force on the user manipulatable object or a housing of the device. The actuator includes a magnet and a grounded coil, where the magnet moves approximately within a plane with respect to the coil, and wherein a current is provided in the coil to generate the force. Other embodiments provide a magnet that moves in a linear degree of freedom within a coil housing, or provide an at least partially spherical magnet providing rotary degrees of freedom to a user manipulatable object coupled to the magnet. One embodiment includes a planar frame support mechanism.

    摘要: An active stick apparatus 40 includes a stick housing 41 and a stick control member 42 pivotally mounted to the stick housing 41 at a pivot point 43. The pivot point 43 acts to divide the stick control member 42 into a first member section 44 and a second member section 45. The pivot point 43 allows the stick control member 42 to pivot with respect to the stick housing 41, as indicated by directional arrows 46 and 47. An actuator 50 is attached to the first member section 44 at an end distal from the pivot point 43. The actuator 50 is arranged to act as a counterbalance to movement of the stick control member 42 about the pivot point 43 under acceleration forces asserted on the stick control member 42. The output axle drive 52 of the actuator 50 is fixedly coupled to a first section 53 of a drive link 54 and a second section 55 of the drive link 54 is pivotally coupled to a first section 56 of a mounting linkage 57. A second section 58 of the mounting linkage 57 is pivotally coupled to the stick housing 41. Coupling of the actuator 50 to the first member section mitigates the requirement for a conventional lump mass.

The operation device includes a first pivot seat, a second pivot seat, and a control lever. The switch device includes a base, a contact terminal, a contact plate, and a cover plate. The control lever is depressed to cause the under surface of the second pivot seat to depress the cover plate. Thus, the switch device is hidden in the housing, thereby reducing the volume of the rocker lever assembly. In addition, the contact slide is moved on the resistance plate of the casing by guidance of the drive member, thereby greatly enhancing the sensitivity of each of the two sensing variable resistors.
