摘要: A method for synchronizing a file system (FS) and a remote file system (RFS) includes monitoring the FS for FS events, generating FS event records, receiving RFS event records of RFS events, generating file system operations (FSOs) based on the FS and RFS event records, and communicating the FSOs to the FS and RFS to synchronize them. A method for generating the FSOs includes accessing a plurality of FS and/or RFS event records, processing the accessed records to generate processed event records, generating the FSOs based on the processed event records, and outputting the FSOs to cause synchronization of the FS and RFS. Systems are also described. The invention facilitates event-based, steady-state synchronization of local and remote file systems.

摘要: Aspects of the subject technology relate to archiving user generated content. A data storage device of a computer system is scanned for media files, and directories of the data storage device containing media files found during the scan are added to an upload directory list. For each directory in the upload directory list, respective identifiers for the media files contained in the directory are determined and sent to a server. Confirmation is received from the server of whether the sent identifiers match identifiers for media files already stored by the server. The media files having identifiers confirmed as not matching identifiers for media files already stored by the server are uploaded.

摘要: Maintenance is performed to determine one or more content files associated with a stored backup snapshot having a size that is greater than a threshold size. It is determined that the size of a content file of the one or more content files is greater than the threshold size. In response to determining that the size of the content file is greater than the threshold size, a new tree data structure is generated and a component file metadata structure corresponding to the content file is split into a plurality of component file metadata structures for the content file.

The plurality of component file metadata structures are associated with different portions of the content file. A component file metadata structure of the plurality of component file metadata structures stores file metadata corresponding to a portion of the content file. The file metadata corresponding to the portion of the content file includes one or more references to locations of data chunks associated with the portion of the content file.

摘要: This application discloses a method for obtaining a manufacturer usage description (MUD) file, a device, and a system. The method includes: A MUD control management device receives a MUD URL request message sent by a terminal device, and obtains at least one MUD file from a plurality of MUD file servers based on a target obtaining policy corresponding to the terminal device. Because the MUD control management device has target obtaining policies corresponding to terminal devices, the MUD control management device can obtain the MUD file from the plurality of MUD file servers based on the target obtaining policy corresponding to the terminal device. This provides a mechanism for obtaining a MUD file of a terminal device from a plurality of MUD file servers in a scenario in which a plurality of MUD files are distributed on the plurality of MUD file servers.

摘要: In an example embodiment, a first function is performed on the first document received at first middleware management architecture, causing a change in the status of the first document. The change is logged in a record corresponding to the first document in a memory. Then the first document is sent to a second network via a transmission protocol layer. A notification of a change in the status of the first document within the second layer is received in a layer other than the transmission protocol layer, from the second network. The change in the second network is logged in the record corresponding to the first document in the memory. Information corresponding to the change in the status of the first document at the middleware management architecture and the change in the status of the first document in the second network is reported to the first network.

摘要: The present disclosure provides apparatus and method for improving analysis of legal documents. A legal document is parsed to generate a list of desired legal authorities. These legal authorities are then acquired from a trusted repository of authorities and processed through a modified text-to-speech program in a desired order to obtain a brief audio recording of the cited authorities. Citing references to the legal authorities may be filtered as appropriate and added to the generated list of desired legal authorities.

摘要: A method for deleting obsolete files from a file system is provided. The method includes receiving a request to delete a reference to a first target file of a plurality of target files stored in a file system, the first target file having a first target file name. A first reference file whose file name includes the first target file name is identified. The first reference file is deleted from the file system. The method further includes determining whether the file system includes at least one reference file, distinct from the first reference file, whose file name includes the first target file name. In accordance with a determination that the file system does not include the at least one reference file, the first target file is deleted from the file system.
