The present invention is a system application software for creation and execution of Structured Query Language (SQL) statements in different languages. Currently, all SQL statements are only in the English language. Through this invention (SIL), SQL statements have been made multilingual. SIL stands for Structured Inquiry Language. Each SQL syntax, key word, statement, function, procedure and error message in English has an equivalently translated SIL syntax in different languages. Examples of the created SIL are SIL—Arabic, SIL—Hindi, SIL—Spanish, SIL—Germany, SIL—Russian, SIL—Chinese, SIL—French, etc. The examples used in this documents are for SIL—Hindi, SIL—Arabic, and SIL—Spanish.

Technologies described herein relate to dense retrieval and ranking of search results. A query indicating a computing context or user input is received. An embedding of the query is computed by way of a first encoder, and candidate results selected from a pool of potential results based upon the embedding of the query and embeddings of the potential results. A similarity score for a first of the candidate results is computed by way of a second encoder trained based upon an order metric that defines a ranking over a training set of potential results. The first encoder is trained based upon output of the second encoder prior to computing the embedding of the query. The candidate results are ranked based upon the similarity score of the first candidate result, and results responsive to the query are identified based upon the ranking. The identified results are output to a computing device.

Starting with an Ontology used to represent data and relationships between data, the system and methods described enable that data to be stored in a desired type of database and accessed using an API and search query generated from the Ontology. Embodiments provide a structure and process to implement a data access system or framework that can be used to unify and better understand information across an organization's entire set of data. Such a framework can help enable and improve the organization and discovery of knowledge, increase the value of existing data, and reduce complexity when developing next-generation applications.

A parallel database system retrieval method and system for transferring from database operation servers to a front end server only those data items that are used in subsequent processing, thereby shortening the query time when the unused data are massive. The invention allows an initial retrieval query to transfer only location information about the target data from a database operation server to the front end server. Using the location information the invention permits a subsequent query to get variable-bound location information so that the latter query will retrieve a desired sub-data item according to the acquired location information and dictionary information about the sub-data item locations within the data.
