    摘要: One embodiment of the present invention sets forth a technique for processing a query of a life cycle assessment database. The technique includes searching one or more hierarchical structures included in the life cycle assessment database for a first set of data nodes that match a first set of parameters included in the query, where the first set of parameters comprises a set of primary data associated with an entity. The technique also includes computing a first set of emissions associated with the first set of data nodes based on a first set of functional units included in the first set of data nodes. The technique further includes aggregating the first set of emissions into a result of the query and causing the result to be outputted in a response to the query.

    摘要: A computer receives user selection of data fields from a data source and user placement of the data fields into a shelf region of a user interface. The computer obtains a data model encoding the data source as a tree of related logical tables. Each logical table includes logical fields, each of which corresponds to either a dimension or a measure. The computer generates a dimension subquery for the dimensions. The computer also generates, for each measure, an aggregated measure subquery grouped by the dimensions. The computer forms a final query by joining the dimension subquery to each of the aggregated measure subqueries. The computer subsequently executes the final query and displays a data visualization according to the results of the final query.

    摘要: Generating reports from database is conventionally performed manually which requires skilled persons, time consuming and prone to errors. Thus, embodiments of present disclosure provide a no-code platform for generating reports as a transaction. User selects a slice object, its information attributes, report attributes, and optionally filters, grouping, splitting, and sorting conditions which are displayed by the no-code platform. Further, a database query is generated based on the user selection by the no code platform. The database query is then executed to retrieve data from a database. Finally, a report is generated based on the retrieved data and the report attributes. Thus, users can obtain reports as a transaction by just specifying their requirements. They need not know the complex structure of the database. Also, the method can be used to generate any type of report from any type of database irrespective of the internal data organization of the database.
