    摘要: A storage unit stores structure data that includes coordinates of vertices of a plurality of polygons representing a three-dimensional structure. A computation unit calculates coordinates of a certain point with reference to the structure data. This point is used, together with the vertices of the polygons, to produce a graph from the structure data according to spatial arrangement of the polygons and further to calculate characteristic quantities based on the produced graph. The computation unit stores the calculated coordinates of the point in a memory device, as a piece of information relating to the structure data.

    摘要: This invention involves an image matching method based on the cascaded binary encoding. The stated method includes: Procedure S1, using the hashing look-up with multiple hashing tables to coarsely filter candidate key-points in the image to produce a candidate subset of key-points; Procedure S2, projecting the candidate subset into a high-dimensional Hamming space; Procedure S3, a “Hamming distance-memory address” hashing table is built, and the optimal matching key-point is discovered by querying this hashing table. The image matching method proposed in this invention has high processing speed and matching quality, which can be used for efficient and accurate image matching.

    摘要: A search engine determines a set of other images that are similar to a user-selected image, and presents those other images to the user. In determining whether two images are sufficiently similar to each other to merit presentation of one, the search engine determines a Euclidean distance between separate feature vectors that are associated with each of the images. Each such vector indicates diverse types of information that is known about the associated image. The types of information included within such a vector may include attributes that reflect visual characteristics that are visible in an image, verbal tags that have been associated with the image users in a community of users, concepts derived from those tags, coordinates that reflect a geographic location at which a camera that produced the image was when the camera produced the image, and concepts related to groups with which the image is associated.

In some embodiments, defining and matching segments includes receiving a user defined segment via a user interface input; and determining a matching effort (e.g., which can include a set of Geographic Positioning System (GPS) data) to the segment using a processor. In some embodiments, the data associated with the effort includes one or more of the following: heart rate, speed, time, and power. In some embodiments, defining and matching segments further includes storing data associated with the matching effort with the segment. In some embodiments, the user defined segment is based at least in part in uploaded GPS data. In some embodiments, the user defined segment is based at least in part on selected points on a map application.

    摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer program products, for identifying images relevant to a query are disclosed. An image search subsystem selects images to reference in image search results that are responsive to a query based on an image relevance model that is trained for the query. An independent image relevance model is trained for each unique query that is identified by the image search subsystem. The image relevance models can be applied to images to order image search results obtained for the query. Each relevance model is trained based on content feature values of images that are identified as being relevant to the query (e.g., frequently selected from the image search results) and images that are identified as being relevant to another unique query. The trained model is applied to the content feature values of all known images to generate an image relevance score that can be used to order search results for the query.
