摘要: Cymbal mounting systems, devices, components, accessories and related methods are provided. The mounting systems mount a cymbal on a mounting post. The systems include a cymbal mount comprising a sleeve portion elongated along a length configured to extend through a mounting aperture of the cymbal, and comprising a top portion, a bottom portion, and an inner cavity extending from the bottom end along at least a portion of the length configured to mount on the mounting post of the cymbal stand. An outer surface of the sleeve portion varies in maximum cross-sectional size along the length thereof. The systems also include at least one resilient support ring comprising an inner through hole of a cross-sectional size that is smaller than at least a portion of that of the outer surface of the sleeve portion such that the support ring applies a compressive force thereto when mounted thereon.

摘要: The Invention pertains to a hardware device designed for mounting, securing, and retaining cymbals on cymbal stands, boom arms and cymbal holders. The device addresses drawbacks of existing cymbal mounting systems by offering unique features that enhance use across a wide range of cymbal stands and cymbal holders by assisting with mounting and removing cymbals, transporting and storing cymbal stands and equipment, and optimizing sound quality of cymbals during use. Key design features enable users to mount cymbals with one hand without having to remove and reinstall a retaining component, and prevent loss of cymbal felts and sleeves when cymbals are removed from cymbal stands or equipment. The length of the device allows secure attachment to cymbal stands and holders with varying cymbal tilter rod lengths. The device eliminates the need for additional mounting components, streamlines the setup process, reduces time-consuming assembly and disassembly, and prevents loss of ancillary components.

摘要: Musical cymbals are mounted on a tripod stand using a threaded rod which is several inches in length. A conventional nut is then threaded on the rod which has to be turned a multiple number of times until the nut abuts the cymbal thereby securing the cymbal on the rod. Using the slip nut assembly of this invention eliminates this time consuming installation procedure of the nut and similarly eliminates the time consuming uninstalling of the nut when the musician is to move to a different playing location.

摘要: An electronic cymbal has electronic cymbal bodies (1, 2), with pads 3, having a hitting surface F that a player can hit, and frames 4, each supporting the back surface side of the pad 3. Opening parts (3a, 4a) are formed at the centers of the pad 3 and the frame 4 of the electronic cymbal body 1. A vibration sensor 5 detects a hit on the hitting surface F of the pad 3. Output cables (7a, 7b), connected to the vibration sensors 5, transmit output from detection signals detected by the vibration sensors 5. The electronic cymbal has an insertion groove part 4b that communicates with the opening part 4a of the frame 4 where the output cable 7b can be held while being inserted through the insertion groove part 4b.

摘要: An acoustic shield system is described that is suitable for musical performances. In one example, a side wall is configured to surround a portion of an edge of a cymbal opposite a percussionist to reflect sound back toward the cymbal and toward the percussionist. The side wall has a top edge above the cymbal and a bottom edge below the cymbal. A substantially flat top plate is attached to the top edge of the side wall and extends from the side wall over and across the center of the cymbal. A substantially flat bottom plate is attached to the bottom edge of the side wall and extends from the side wall under and across the center of the cymbal. The bottom plate is parallel to the top plate. The bottom plate and the top plate are spaced to accommodate regular movement of the cymbal when struck.
