Abstract:
A drive assembly for a cassette tape recorder having a motor driven driving pinion and an intermediate gear permanently engaged with the driving pinion and being adjustable in positions to alternatively engage a feed spool or a take up spool.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a recording and/or playback apparatus in which a tape record carrier is adapted to be moved between two turntables in the fast-forward/rewind function. According to the direction of tape travel a motor is associated with the instantaneous take-up turntable and a tacho-generator is associated with the instantaneous supply turntable. During the fast-forward/rewind function the speed of the instantaneous takeup motor can be controlled via a control circuit which is supplied by the tacho-generator which cooperates with the instantaneous supply turntable in a manner such that the speed of the instantaneous supply turntable is constant, so that when the end of the record carrier is reached an undesirable high speed thereof is avoided. Furthermore, the control arrangement may also, after being suitably changed-over, be used to stop the record carrier in the fast-forward/rewind function in that it supplies a variable braking current to the motor to be stopped.
Abstract:
A reel driving apparatus for a video camera, which is constructed with a minimum of structural elements, resulting in achieving simplicity in construction and reducing the manufacturing cost and weight of the product. The apparatus comprises an idle gear mounted on a support plate to be pivotally movable therewith between a feed reel and a take-up reel gears to selectively transmit power from a motor to the reel gears, direction rotating gear disposed in intermeshing engagement with the take-up reel gear, and a stopper protruding from the support plate to control rotation of the direction rotating gear, thereby preventing a tape from instantaneously slackening during a change of the direction of the travel in the tape in the tape during winding and unwinding operations.
Abstract:
A tape-reeling system having a tension-control arm which is pivotable in response to a change in tension in the tape, and a motor for applying a takeup torque to the reel through a continually driven roller in frictional contact with a drum mounted on the reel''s shaft. Movement of the tension-control arm moves a link which effects a movement of the roller. The frictional force between the roller and drum is thus changed and the takeup torque applied to the reel controlled. In a system having two tension-control arms associated with takeup and payout reels, rapid winding is achieved by locking one of the tensioncontrol arms in a position to provide nonslipping contact between a drum and roller, while stopping the other arm from moving to such a position.
