A SLIDABLE CONTACT OF SUITABLE WIDTH AND HEIGHT ENGAGES THE RESISTANCE FILM AND IS MOVABLE RELATIVE THERETO IN A GIVEN PATH FOR VARYING THE RESITANCE VALUE IN A SMALL STEP-WISE MANNER. A RESISTANCE ELEMENT OF EXTENDED RANGE MAY BE PROVIDED BY THE ADDITION OF RESISTANCE FILM AREAS BETWEEN INCOMPLETE LOOPS OF THE SERPENTINE PATTERN OR ADDED TO COMPLETE THE LOOPS, THE MATERIAL OF THE SECOND FILM HAVING A HIGHER RESISTIVITY THAN THE FIRST FILM. THE SIDE PREFERABLY, ENGAGES ONLY THOSE PORTIONS OF THE FIRST RESISTANCE FILM IN THE PREDETERMINED PATH.

    摘要： A protection assembly with an operating knob (1) for an electrical potentiometer comprises a substantially tubular housing (2) defining a longitudinal axis (L), an electrical adjustment device (3) held within the housing (2) and having an adjustment shaft (4) rotating about the longitudinal axis (L) and an internal variable resistor interacting with a longitudinal end (5) of the shaft (4), an operating knob (6) attached to the other end (7) of the shaft (4), limit stop means (8) for restricting the rotation of the shaft (4) within a predetermined maximum angle of rotation (a). The knob (6) comprises an annular anchoring member (9), which is designed to be removably coupled to the housing (2) and an operating member (10) coupled to the shaft (4) and rotating relative to the anchoring member (9). The anchoring member (9) and the operating member (10) have mutually facing cylindrical surfaces (11, 12), with said limit stop means (8) interposed therebetween to limit the infiltration of external impurities.

    摘要： In a variable resistor of the type wherein there is formed on an insulating substrate a resistive member having wide portions and narrow portions in the sliding direction of a slide member and ends thereof wired respectively to a ground terminal and an input terminal. A plurality of contact elements formed on said slide member are brought into sliding contact with said resistive member and a high resistance film allowing the passage of electrostatic charges therethrough is formed at portions of said insulating substrate lying within the sliding passage of said contact elements so that a part of said contact elements comes into contact therewith when it comes off from said resistive member.

    摘要： A layer resistance unit for voltage dividers adapted particularly for tuning or adjusting high frequency circuits capacitance diodes, said unit comprising series-connected main resistance elements at least some of which are connected in parallel with a side resistor and the latter being adapted to be varied so as to adjust the resistivity of the resistance unit to a desired characteristic, said main resistance elements and said side resistors being interconnected by conducting transverse or cross strips of conducting material. Said side resistors are adapted to have their resistance varied by progressively reducing the width of their current conductive layer surface. At least one main resistor having in addition to its side resistor connected to it in parallel a further layer resistance, all resistance layers of the unit i.e. main resistors, side resistors and parallel resistors having the same specific surface resistivity.
