摘要: Some embodiments include a system, comprising: at least one x-ray source, each x-ray source including: an electron source configured to generate an electron beam; and a target configured to receive the electron beam and convert the electron beam into an x-ray beam; and a collimator. A first edge of the collimator closest to the electron source is closer to the electron source than a central axis of the x-ray beam before entering the collimator; and a second edge of the collimator opposite to the first edge is at the central axis of the x-ray beam before entering the collimator or closer to the electron source than the central axis of the x-ray beam before entering the collimator.

摘要: A lightweight X-ray tube assembly and X-ray CT equipment having the same. The X-ray tube assembly includes an X-ray tube and a tube housing. The X-ray tube includes: a cathode for generating an electron beam; an anode for radiating X rays by collision of the electron beam; an envelope for holding the cathode and the anode in a vacuum atmosphere; and an X-ray window provided in the envelope to irradiate some of X rays radiated from the anode toward a test subject. The tube housing encapsulates the X-ray tube together with an insulating oil. The X-ray tube assembly further includes a protective member that is provided at least around the X-ray window on an outer wall of the envelope and shields the X rays.

摘要: A planar filament 11f can include multiple materials to increase electron emission in desired directions and to suppress electron emission in undesired directions. The filament 11f can include a core-material CM between a top-material TM and a bottom-material BM. The top-material TM can have a lowest work function WFt; the bottom-material BM can have a highest work function WFb; and the core-material CM can have an intermediate work function WFc (WFt Wb). This shape makes it easier to coat the edges 31e with the bottom-material BM, because the edges 31e tilt toward and partially face the sputter target. This shape also helps direct more electrons to a center of the target 14, and reduce electron emission in undesired directions.

The emitter assembly including a plurality of independent components that are coupled together. The electrode assembly including a plurality of independent components that are coupled together, and the emitter assembly being coupled to the electrode assembly.

摘要: In order to achieve effective cooling, an X-ray emitter with a tube housing having a vacuum is provided. At least one anode is arranged in the tube housing, such that the anode is irradiated by an electron beam generated in a cathode and accelerated through an electrical field. The anode is excited, such that an X-ray deceleration radiation is emitted. The X-ray emitter has a thermoelectric converter (e.g., at least one thermophotovoltaic cell) for generating electrical energy. The thermoelectric converter is arranged, such that the thermoelectric converter may be irradiated at least in part by a heat radiation emanating from the anode.
