    Abstract: Provided is a transportation device that can perform processing on both long side ends of a laminated element while constantly restraining both ends of the laminated elements over the entire surface, which are not fixed with tape in the lamination direction. A transportation device 1 includes a first restraint member 20 and a second restraint member 30 that restrain a first plate member 11 disposed at one end of an electrode body 200 in a lamination direction and a second plate member 12 disposed at the other end from both sides of the electrode body 200 in the lamination direction, in which the first restraint member 20 includes a first restraint part 21, a second restraint part 22, and a first connection part 23, and the second restraint member 30 includes a third restraint part 31, a fourth restraint part 32, and a second connection part 33.

    Abstract: An electrochemical device is disclosed. The electrochemical device includes an anode and a cathode, and a cured electrolyte composition disposed between the anode and the cathode, where at least a portion of the electrolyte composition interpenetrates at least a portion of both the anode and the cathode. A stacked geometry electrochemical device is disclosed. The stacked geometry electrochemical device includes a first electrode and a second electrode, and a cured electrolyte composition defining a top surface in contact with the first electrode, a bottom surface in contact with the second electrode, and a peripheral edge not in contact with the first electrode and the second electrode. The device also includes a mold wall disposed at the peripheral edge surrounding and contacting the cured electrolyte composition, where at least a portion of the mold wall is transmissible to curing radiation. A method of producing an electrolyte layer of an electrochemical device is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a roll-type electrode group including positive and negative electrode plates and a tape attached to the outermost circumferential surface of the electrode group. The tape has two adhesion regions including an adhesive layer and a non-adhesion region that is interposed between the two adhesion regions and is composed of a base material layer only. The non-adhesion region straddles the rolling-end edge of at least one of the positive or negative electrode active material layer on the roll inner side of the positive or negative electrode collector and the positive or negative electrode active material layer on the roll outer side of the positive or negative electrode collector in the positive or negative electrode plate when the electrode group is viewed from a roll center axis toward the outside of the roll.

    Abstract: To improve durability of an all-solid-state battery, a method of manufacturing an all-solid-state battery includes: obtaining a stack having an anode active material layer, a cathode active material layer, a first solid electrolyte layer, and a second solid electrolyte layer, the first solid electrolyte layer and the second solid electrolyte layer being disposed between the anode active material layer and the cathode active material layer, the second solid electrolyte layer containing a sublimational filler; densifying the stack; and subliming the sublimational filler from the second solid electrolyte layer.
