Abstract:
Fixtures, apparatuses, and related methods are provided that provide for a non-Edison connection for receiving a lamp housing of a lighting device having a non-Edison connector. The fixture can include a fixture housing and a non-Edison socket securable to the fixture housing. The fixture can also include an engagement device for engaging a lamp housing of a lighting device that has a non-Edison connector upon insertion of the lamp housing into the fixture housing and engaging the non-Edison socket.
Abstract:
A lamp which has a lamp glass envelope (14) having contact pins (16) projecting from its end (15) and which is held in a socket receptacle (9) having an insulator (2, 6), wherein the insulator (2, 6) holds a small metallic tube (1) between a contact pin (16) of the lamp envelope (14) and a current-feeding connecting cable (4) in at least one through hole, to which small tube (1) the contact pin (16) is crimped and the connecting cable (4) is connected.
Abstract:
A corner mount light fixture has an extruded housing base with two mutually perpendicular housing walls and a wire channel coextruded with the housing base. A lamp holder snap mounts to the wire channel and pierces the insulation of a conductor pair press fitted in the channel. The conductor pair runs between two terminal blocks also snap mounted to the wire channel near opposite ends of the housing, so that multiple lamp holders can be installed at intervals along the conductor pair. Plastic housing covers snap onto the extruded housing base on either side of each lamp holder, and a glass lens is supported over each lamp holder in guideways molded on the housing covers. The lens slides along the guideways to open the housing for access to the lamp holder. Multiple fixtures can be daisy chained by interconnecting terminal blocks of adjacent fixtures.
Abstract:
An inside unit (54) is housed in the unit receiving section 81 of a lamp socket (1). The central terminal (3) is connected to the high-voltage output terminal (76) of the inside unit (54) and mounted in the terminal aperture (11A) of a terminal mount (11) at the center of the lamp socket (1). The low-voltage output terminal (77) of the inside unit (54) is connected to the side terminal (4) of the lamp socket (1).
Abstract:
A lampholder has an outer sleeve centered on an axis and having a radially inwardly projecting lug having an axially inwardly directed end face and an inner core adapted to fit with a lamp, fittable inside the sleeve, and formed with an axially inwardly directed face axially alignable and engageable with the outer-sleeve end face on rotation of the core in the sleeve in a predetermined sense in a fully inserted position of the inner core in the sleeve. Interengageable retaining formations on the core and on the sleeve inhibit rotation of the core in the sleeve opposite to the predetermined sense when the faces are axially aligned with and engage each other.
Abstract:
A clamping structure of projection lamp comprises a shade assembly, a lamp cup and a clamping tongue. The shade assembly has an insulating body with two grooves on two outer walls thereof. The lamp cup has two leads connected to the shade assembly. The lamp cup has two grooves on two outer walls thereof. The clamping tongue has a resilient main body having a plurality of upper arms and lower arms on two opposite sides thereof. The upper arm has upper clamping part and the lower arm has lower clamping part. The upper clamping parts of the upper arms clamp the grooves of the shade assembly and the lower clamping parts of the lower arms clamp the grooves of the lamp cup such that the lamp cup is elastically connected to the shade assembly.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a halogen lamp coupling structure for an electric heater allowing a fitting plate 2 of a halogen lamp 1 to be fitted into and coupled with a lamp fixing recess 150 of a base 6 serving as an insulation block. The halogen lamp coupling structure comprises a strap coupling type of elastic fixing member 100 having a fixing strap 120 fixed to the halogen lamp 1 to surround the halogen lamp 1 and an auxiliary fixing strap 130 supported by an inner wall of the lamp fixing recess 150 of the base 6. The fixing strap 120 and the auxiliary fixing strap 130 are connected with each other in a vertical direction by a bent piece 140. The base 6 serving as the insulation block is formed with the lamp fixing recess 150 which takes the shape of an elliptical recess and accommodates the elastic fixing member 100 therein and of which the bottom is provided with a fitting contact member 160 for causing a lamp terminal 3 of the halogen lamp 1 to be fitted into an elongated hole 162. The fitting contact member 160 may include a cover plate 161 which defines a bottom surface of the elliptical fixing recess 150 and has the elongated hole 162 formed at a position corresponding to the lamp terminal 3 for guiding the fitting coupling of the lamp terminal therein, and a connection terminal 166 which is installed in a bottom groove 163 below the cover plate 161, is in contact with the lamp terminal 3 fitted through the elongated hole 162 by means of elastic force of a spring 164 and is connected to an electric wire 165.
Abstract:
A rotatable socket for a halogen-lamp. The socket includes a porcelain base having two insert grooves at its bottom and an H-shaped upright post standing on the bottom. A plus and minus contact members respectively positioned in two opposite recessed sides of the H-shaped upright post. The top end of the plus contact member rests on a protruding lug on the top center of the H-shaped upright post. The top end of the minus contact member rests on the top of the right side wing of the H-shaped post. A mica plate is fitted on the H-shaped post and a metal threaded sleeve surrounds the H-shaped post and is fixed with it by rivets, permitting the top end of the plus contact member to protrude out in order to function as a plus terminal and an upper rim of the threaded sleeve presses the top section of the minus contact member to function as a minus terminal.

Abstract:
A lamp socket adapter/converter has a main body with a medium screw-base male lamp connector on a lower end and a mount on an upper end. Standoffs extend from the mount parallel and spaced from a central axis. A printed circuit board has holes engaged with medial portions of the standoffs, and a mounting plate fixed to a female bi-pin socket is engaged with the terminal ends of the standoffs. Circuit components on the circuit board convert the electricity present at the lower end lamp connector to a different form of electricity provided to the bi-pin socket. Potting material surrounds an upper portion of the mount, the printed circuit board, the circuit components, the mounting plate and a lower portion of the bi-pin socket.
