    摘要: A monitor deflection circuit includes a bipolar power transistor for applying power from a high voltage supply to a horizontal deflection coil. The monitor deflection circuit further includes a base drive circuit for selectively turning the bipolar power transistor on and off. The base drive circuit includes a flyback transformer having a primary winding and a secondary winding coupled to the base of the bipolar power transistor, a voltage source coupled to one end of the primary winding, and a drive switch coupling the other end of the primary winding to ground. The base driver circuit further includes a constant current circuit coupled between the voltage source and the primary winding of the flyback transformer for controlling a base current of the bipolar power transistor before the bipolar power transistor conducts.

Each of the transistors (Q7, Q8, and Q9) is part of a switching module (20, 22, and 24) in the form of a three-terminal transistor circuit. Two of the modules (20 and 22) are connected to a common gating terminal (12) solely by diodes (D6 and D7) oriented so as (a) to conduct current in the direction required to provide a turn-on signal for the transistors (Q7 and Q8) but (b) to isolate the common gating terminal (12) from the high voltages experienced by the transistors (Q7 and Q8) when they are in their non-conducting states.

    摘要: A horizontal deflection circuit which including a horizontal output transistor; a damper diode connected in parallel with the horizontal output transistor; a resonant capacitor connected in parallel with the damper diode; a horizontal deflection coil connected in parallel with the horizontal output transistor; and a series resonant circuit connected in parallel with the resonant capacitor. The series resonant circuit is constituted by a series connection of a capacitor and an inductor to perform composite resonance in cooperation with the resonant capacitor. The capacitor and the inductor of the series resonant circuit are designed to have a tertiary resonant frequency. The composite resonance by means of the series resonant circuit and the resonant capacitor enables the top of the flyback pulse to be flattened, so that the waveform of the flyback pulse becomes near the form of rectangular wave. Accordingly, a horizontal deflection circuit having higher retracing capacity can be provided through the same horizontal output transistor as generally used in the prior art.

    摘要: A source of unregulated direct voltage has a terminal coupled to a capacitor. A horizontal deflection circuit is coupled to a first terminal of the source and to the capacitor so as to be energized by a regulated voltage established by the difference between the unregulated voltage and the voltage across the capacitor. The deflection switching transistor is serially coupled with an additional controllable switch, and an inducator is coupled between the junction of the switches and the second terminal of the source of unregulated direct voltage to provide a controllable path for current flow in the capacitor. The controllable switches are operated at the deflection rate to generate deflection currents and to control the state of charge of the capacitor to maintain a constant regulated voltage. The energy represented by periodic discharge of the capacitor is recovered.

    摘要: A source of unregulated direct voltage is commutated at the horizontal rate by a two-transistor switching regulator and applied across a transformer primary winding. The duty cycle of the alternations is controlled to maintain the peak-to-average value of a first portion of the alternations at a constant value. A rectifier serially coupled with a capacitor is coupled across the secondary winding of the transformer and produces a direct voltage across the capacitor from the first portion of the alternations. The junction of the rectifier and secondary winding is grounded. A television horizontal output transistor has its emitter grounded and its collector coupled through an inductance to the other end of the rectifier. A constant energy is stored in the inductance during each deflection cycle for application to the horizontal output stage. The horizontal output transistor is one of the two regulator transistors.

    摘要: A circuit arrangement for providing a saw-tooth current, with trace and retrace (flyback) intervals, in a deflection coil, in which the amplitude of said current is affected by modulation signal, the arrangement comprising in addition to the said deflection coil, a first retrace capacitor and a first trace capacitor which, together with the deflection coil, form a first oscillating circuit during the retrace interval, a second inductance coil, a second retrace capacitor and a second trace capacitor which form a second oscillating circuit during the retrace interval, a controllable switch connected to a power supply source through a third inductance coil and having a control electrode, connected to a periodic signal source for making the controllable switch conductive during a second part of the trace interval, and a first diode and a second diode, connected in parallel with the first and second retrace capacitors, respectively, the polarity of the diodes being such that they are made conductive by current flowing in the deflection coil and in the second inductance coil, respectively, during the first part of the trace interval, the first retrace capacitor being connected to the controllable switch through a third diode and the second retrace capacitor being connected to the controllable switch through a fourth diode, the third diode being connected with polarity such that it is made conductive by the current flowing in the deflection coil during the second part of the trace interval and the fourth diode being connected with polarity such that it is made conductive by the current flowing in the second inductance coil during the second part of the trace interval.
