The junction of the rectifier and secondary winding is grounded. A television horizontal output transistor has its emitter grounded and its collector coupled through an inductance to the other end of the rectifier. A constant energy is stored in the inductance during each deflection cycle for application to the horizontal output stage. The horizontal output transistor is one of the two regulator transistors.
