摘要: A system and a method for multimachine phase synchronization based on optical fiber transmission are provided. The system includes a master and a plurality of slaves, where an optical fiber transmitting interface of the master is connected to an optical fiber receiving interface of one slave, the slave connected to the master is connected in series with the other slaves in turn, the master transmits phase information of a digital reference source thereof as a system synchronous phase signal to the slave connected to the master, the slave takes the received system synchronous phase signal as a phase of the local digital reference source, and transmits the system synchronous phase signal to a slave connected to an optical fiber transmitting interface of the slave through the optical fiber transmitting interface, and when the last slave is connected to the master, the master and the slaves form a closed-loop communication test.

摘要: A method for synchronizing a timing end application (TEA) in an edge communication network includes (a) receiving, at a first access device, a time stamp from a first TEA communicatively coupled to the first access device, (b) transmitting the time stamp from the first access device to a second access device via communication media of the edge communication network, (c) adjusting the time stamp to account for transit time of the time stamp from the first access device to the second access device, and (d) after adjusting the time stamp, transmitting the time stamp from the second access device to a second TEA communicatively coupled to the second access device.

摘要: An apparatus and method for supporting a precision time synchronization protocol of a stealth clock type are provided. The method may be performed by a stealth clock follower device and may include transmitting a sync message received from a neighbor device to an end-follower device, receiving a delay-request message from the end-follower device, and updating a residence time in a correction field of the received delay-request message. The method may also include transmitting the updated delay-request message to a leader device, receiving a delay-response message from the leader device, and performing time synchronization based on a time of the leader device by using an ingress time of the sync message, an egress time of the updated delay-request message, and time information contained in the sync message and the delay response-message. The method may further include transmitting the delay-response message to the end-follower device for time-synchronization.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) system clock time synchronization based on a short-range wireless communication-based automated process. A system comprises a cellular mobile device having a short-range wireless communication capability to communicate with one or more EVSEs. The system further comprises a smart EVSE capable of gaining network connectivity, maintaining an EVSE system clock, and storing multiple days or months interval data logs and charging session data in order to provide reporting to a utility that allows retroactively calculating meter data and performing accurate billing to its customers such that the smart EVSE to synchronize time if power is lost when the network connectivity is down and to retrieve the interval data logs and the charging session data for updating to a cloud automatically to gain network connectivity for gaining an ability to perform Network Time Protocol (NTP) synchronization of the EVSE system clock.

摘要: Provided is a method for validating synchronized local times of at least a first control unit and a second control unit of a vehicle, wherein the method includes receiving, at each one of the at least two control units, a synchronization message including a master time; synchronizing, at each one of the at least two control units, a local time of the respective one of the at least two control units to the received master time; communicating the synchronized local time from the first control unit to the second control unit; and comparing, at the second control unit, the communicated local time of the first control unit to the synchronized local time of the second control unit for validating the synchronized local times of the at least two control units.

One example method includes: obtaining a first signal, wherein the first signal comprises clock information of an external clock source, determining signal quality of the first signal, determining a clock mode based on the signal quality of the first signal, wherein the clock mode comprises a first clock mode or a second clock mode, and wherein the internal clock source is located in the vehicle. In response to determining that the clock mode is the second clock mode, synchronizing a management plane clock based on the first clock information and synchronizing a data plane clock based on the second clock information.

摘要: A method for synchronizing time in an Ethernet-based network having a master network subscriber and a slave network subscriber includes sending out a first telegram via the master network subscriber, where the slave subscriber receives the first telegram at a first receipt time value of a local system time and stores the first receipt time value. The method can also include reading out the first receipt time value via the master subscriber, sending out a second telegram by the master subscriber, where the slave subscriber receives the second telegram at a second receipt time value of the local system time and stores the second receipt time value, and reading out the second receipt time value via the master network subscriber. A speed parameter of the local system time can be calculated from the receipt time values via the master network subscriber, and transmitted to the slave subscriber.
