The ECM system may have a reactive jammer that is used both for a reactive jamming function, and as the transponder monitor function.

    摘要: A device and method for estimation of the transmission characteristics of a Radio Frequency system are provided. The device and method calculate a predicted receive power at a given location using a propagation and scenario model. Then a measured receive power at the given location is used to determine a correction value equal to the difference between the calculated and measured receive powers. The correction value and the propagation model are then used with a heuristic method to refine estimates of propagation and scenario parameters. The refined parameter set is used to produce a refined prediction of receive power, which is used to create a refined correction factor. The refined correction factor is used to determine predicted receive powers at a plurality of locations.

    摘要: A device and method for estimating the operational effectiveness, status, and protection range of an electronic countermeasures system in real time or near real time are provided. The device and method calculate a predicted ECM power at a given location using a propagation and scenario model.     摘要: An automatic system is provided for alerting ground personnel as to the existence of a threat to commercial aircraft in which the threat is determined by a classified system, but in which the local area network employed by the military missile warning is isolated from an unclassified local network coupled to the aircraft's transponder which transmits the threat existence and status to ground personnel. The barrier to transmitting classified information involves both filtering between the classified LAN and unclassified LAN, the use of only discrete signaling lines in the classified LAN isolated by opto-electronics to provide physical separation between the two local area networks, and communications formatting which precludes the transmission of classified information across the barrier between the classified local area network and the unclassified local area network.
