摘要： An automated ticket auctioning system receives and evaluates bid information records received from a plurality of remote terminals. Each bid information record corresponds to at least one bid for one or more desired seats at a venue. Each bid information record may also include a plurality of additional bids identified for different seats in the venue. The separate bids in each bid information record are prioritized. The automated ticket auctioning system includes a central controlling computer operable to receive the bid information records and determine, in order of priority, whether any of the bids in a bid information record is accepted. If one bid in a bid information record is accepted, all lower priority bids in that bid information record are dismissed.

摘要： The present invention provides a mutual rating system in which objects, such as users, content, and terminal devices, on the network can be rated and ratings for the objects can be checked without using a server. In the rating system, objects (users, content, terminal devices, etc.) associated with a network (3) are rated. The mutual rating system is connected to the network (3), and includes: a plurality of third party terminals (1(#3)) having stored therein rating information related to objects previously rated by the user; and content demanding terminal devices (1(#1)) for collecting rating information related to desired objects from all online rating information stoning terminal devices. Each content demanding terminal device (I(# I )) analyzes rating information collected from the third party terminal devices (1(#3)) to obtain a rating for a desired object.

摘要： A method of conducting an on-line auction that permits individual bidders to pool bids during a bidding session. The auction is conducted over a computer network that includes a central computer, a number of remote computers, and communication lines connecting the remote computers to the central computer. A number of bidding groups are registered in the central computer, each bidding group having a total bid for the item being auctioned. Bids entered from the remote computers are received in the central computer, each bid including a bid amount and a bid designation. Each bid amount is contributed to the total bid of the bidding group indicated by the bid designation. The bidding group having the largest total bid at the end of the bidding session wins the item being auctioned.

The system further includes a central controlling computer operably connected to the memory. The central controlling computer is operable to first receive a message including a received bid information record from one of a plurality of remote terminals through a communication system. The received bid information record includes received identification information, received section information, received quantity information, and received bid price information. The central controlling computer is further operable to determine a lowest minimum acceptable bid value corresponding to the received section information using the previously accepted bid information records stored in the memory, and store the received bid information record if a value represented by the received bid price information exceeds the lowest minimum acceptable bid value.
