A media session may be replicated from a first WTRU onto a second WTRU. The second WTRU replicates the presentation of the media program from the first WTRU at least in part by receiving a networked bookmark from an Internet Protocol (IP) Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) network, wherein the networked bookmark comprises a suggested presentation offset that indicates an offset in time from a bookmark-created time to a bookmark presentation time at the first WTRU; the second WTRU determining a second-WTRU-presentation offset based at least in part on the suggested presentation offset; and the second WTRU presenting the media program with the determined second-WTRU presentation offset from the beginning of the media program.

    摘要: An Internet Protocol (IP) multimedia subsystem (IMS) network node receives a first collaborative session control signaling from a first wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) for an existing IMS collaborative session between at least the first WTRU and a second WTRU. The first WTRU is the initial controller of the session. The IMS network node detects that the first collaborative session control signaling from the first WTRU is degraded, and responsively initiates transfer of control of the session to the second WTRU at least in part by: transmitting an IMS-network-node-initiated collaborative session control transfer request to the second WTRU, receiving an acceptance from the second WTRU, and receiving a second collaborative session control signaling for the session from the second WTRU. The session is maintained, at least in part, through the IMS network node both before and after the second WTRU becomes the new controller.

    摘要: A scatterer gatherer method and device configured to remotely manipulate an apparatus. The scatterer sends a group of identical packets through a network. The route each packet takes through the network is determined by the network. The time taken for a first packet of a group to travel from origin to destination is unequal from that taken by a second packet of the group. A gatherer is configured to receive each packet, determine which is the first of the group of identical packets to arrive, store the first and discard the later arriving packets of the group. The gatherer further configured to interpolate to determine a value for a missing group of packets should none of the group arrives within a predetermined time. The method and device further configured to use the stored data to remotely manipulate an apparatus then provide feedback to the user through a return network path.

    摘要: An Internet Protocol (IP) multimedia subsystem (IMS) network node receives a first collaborative session control signaling from a first wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) for an existing IMS collaborative session between at least the first WTRU and a second WTRU. The first WTRU is the initial controller of the session. The IMS network node detects that the first collaborative session control signaling from the first WTRU is degraded, and responsively initiates transfer of control of the session to the second WTRU at least in part by: transmitting an IMS-network-node-initiated collaborative session control transfer request to the second WTRU, receiving an acceptance from the second WTRU, and receiving a second collaborative session control signaling for the session from the second WTRU. The session is maintained, at least in part, through the IMS network node both before and after the second WTRU becomes the new controller.

The first WTRU may establish an Internet protocol (IP) multimedia subsystem (IMS) session with a packet switch stream (PSS) server. The media session may be replicated onto the second WTRU at a wall-clock time T, and the second WTRU may present an offset equal to T−bookmarkcreatedtime+bookmark offset−suggestedPresentationOffset from the beginning of a program in order to obtain synchronized media playout with the first WTRU.
