The support arrangement (10) comprises a first insulating body (11), a second insulating body (21), a detachably arranged cover body (30) or cover assembly (60), and a support structure (40). A cavity (15) is formed between the first insulating body (11) and a second insulating body (21) into which the heating elements (5, 7) extend to thereby allow electrical connection to a power source. Each of the first insulating body (11) and a second insulating body (21) comprises at least one longitudinal slot (13, 23) arranged in a first surface facing towards the interior of the furnace (1) to thereby allow insertion of a heating element into the support arrangement (10) from the interior of the furnace (1).

The supporting member has a main extension direction extending substantially in a height direction and a proximal and distal end. The proximal end is adapted to support the heating element. The resilient system includes a spring element, which is coupled to a distal portion of the supporting member and provides resiliency of the supporting member in a resilient direction and substantially restricts movements of the supporting member in a rigid direction. Furthermore, the resilient system extends at least partially from the distal portion in the height direction towards the proximal end.

    摘要: A molybdenum disilicide-based ceramic heating element holding structure includes a holding member that is attached to a base portion and that holds an elongated support member, for mounting a molybdenum disilicide-based ceramic heating element of an elongated shape at intervals in a long axis direction thereof. The molybdenum disilicide-based ceramic heating element mounted on the support member can be exchanged without breaking the holding structure. A plurality of elongated support members can be provided, and a U-shaped portion of an elongated molybdenum disilicide-based ceramic heating element having a meandering shape can be inserted and extracted from a uniaxial direction in a space partitioned by the base portion. The plurality of support members and the holding member holding the plurality of elongated support members are detachable and the support member is removable from the holding member.

    摘要: A heating element arrangement for a vacuum heat treating furnace is disclosed wherein the heating elements that make up the heating element arrays have different electrical resistances or watt densities at different locations in the heating element arrays. This arrangement allows for placement of heating elements having electrical resistance selected to provide more or less heat as needed in the furnace hot zone to provide better temperature uniformity in the workload. The electrical resistances and watt densities of the heating element arrays are varied by using a first heating element having a geometry in one segment of a heating element array and a second heating element having a different geometry from that of the first heating element in another section of the heating element array.
