    Abstract: A display substrate and a display device are provided. The display substrate includes a light emitting element disposed on a base substrate, and an encapsulation layer, a connection layer, a light extraction layer, a polarization conversion layer and a polarization layer stacked sequentially at a light exiting side of the light emitting element. The light extraction layer is configured to convert at least a portion of light emitted by the light emitting element incident onto the light extraction layer into circularly polarized light with a set rotational direction to pass through the light extraction layer. The polarization conversion layer is configured to convert the circularly polarized light passing through the light extraction layer into linearly polarized light, with a polarization direction parallel to a direction of a light transmission axis of the polarization layer; the connection layer is configured to bond the light extraction layer to the encapsulation layer.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a display substrate and a display device. The display substrate includes a base substrate; light-emitting devices of a plurality of colors arranged in an array on the base substrate; an anti-reflection layer on the side of the layer where the light-emitting device is away from the base substrate; and a chiral liquid crystal layer between the layer where the light-emitting device is and the anti-reflection layer, wherein the orthographic projection of the chiral liquid crystal layer on the base substrate overlaps the orthographic projection of a light-emitting device of at least one color on the base substrate; the central reflection wavelength of the chiral liquid crystal layer is roughly the same as the light-emitting wavelength of the light-emitting device of at least one color overlapping the chiral liquid crystal layer, and the helix direction of the chiral liquid crystal layer is left-handed helix or right-handed helix.

    Abstract: Embodiments of a curved display assembly are disclosed. The assembly includes a glass sheet having first and second major surfaces. The second major surface defines a first curvature of the glass sheet, and the first curvature has a bend axis. The assembly also includes a curved display having a second thickness between first and second display surfaces. The display has a display region and two overhanging edges adjacent to the display region and parallel to the bend axis. A first adhesive bonds the second display surface to the second major surface in the display region. A second adhesive is disposed between each of the two overhanging edges and the second major surface. The second adhesive has a higher elastic modulus than the first adhesive. The overhanging edges each extend a distance outside of the display area that is at least three times the second thickness of the curved display.

    Abstract: A display device includes subpixels including light-emitting elements; reflective portions provided in part of the subpixels and each having a reflective surface inclined with respect to a surface of a substrate; a high refractive index layer provided on a second electrode, and guiding light, to the reflective surface, entering from the second electrode side at an angle equal to or greater than a total reflection critical angle and transmit light entering at an angle less than the total reflection critical angle; a substrate provided to face the surface; and a spacer forming a gap layer having a certain thickness between the substrate and the high refractive index layer provided at least in a region not overlapping the reflective portions in a plan view, and dispose the substrate away from the reflective portions. The refractive index of the high refractive index layer is higher than that of the gap layer.
