摘要： A device and method for automatically vibrating the working members of a power construction vehicle such as a power excavator is disclosed. The device and method effectively change both the amplitude of vibration and the number of vibrations of a working member in proportion to a levering angle of an associated control lever during an excavating, breaking or ground hardening operation of a construction vehicle. The automatic vibration device is thus free from any select switch. The device simplifies the construction of the hydraulic system and more easily controls the automatic vibration operations, and thereby is convenient to operators.

摘要： An earth moving and tamping apparatus rig is provided which can backfill a trench and compact the backfill materials up to 95% compaction. A bucket and a vibrator are attached to a backhoe. The bucket retrieves the filling material and either dumps the material into a trench or sifts it through adjustable screening blades that form the bottom of the bucket. The apparatus includes a means to swivel the bucket 360.degree. with respect to the boom. The end of the bucket then compacts the filling materials into the trench. Each moving rig apparatus may also be equipped with an alternative two-bucket system, where one bucket fits inside the other one or is along side thereof. For trenches as wide as two feet to increase the area of dirt tamped, the two-bucket may be secured in juxtaposition to each other. For more narrow trenches, the second bucket may be closed inside the first bucket and the area tamped will only be the width of a single bucket. The earth moving and tamping apparatus rig is a device by which a backfilling job may be done more efficiently and less expensive than the present method employing multiple workers and machines.

摘要： A soil surface remediation apparatus useful for decontamination of oil or chemical spill sites and toxic waste containing sites comprises a soil treatment apparatus mounted on a mobile trenching machine tractor which excavates trenches in a contaminated site to remove contaminated soil to the surface apparatus where the soil is decontaminated and is immediately replaced into the excavated trench in a continuous operation. Hydrocarbons or other useful by-products such as precious metals may be recovered from the soil. Both deep trenching and shallow trenching embodiments are disclosed.

摘要： A fishing lure comprising a generally V-shaped wire. The V-shape wire has a truncated flat closed intermediate wire portion. The wire further has wire leg portions extending at approximately 45.degree. angles away from opposite ends of the flat closed intermediate wire portion. One of the leg portions has a spinner attached to an outer free end thereof. Another of the leg portions has a fishing hook attached to an outer end thereof. A metallic hinge piece is provided having an axial bore extending along a longitudinal axis of the hinge piece. The truncated flat closed intermediate wire portion is extended through the axial bore on the hinge piece and with the wire leg portions act as stops to assist in maintaining the hinge piece in 360.degree. rotating assembly on the truncated flat closed intermediate wire portion. The hinge piece has an annular table-like flange located between opposite ends of the hinge piece and with the annular table-like flange extending radially outwardly of the hinge piece. The annular table-like flange has an axially extending table bore extended there through. An axis of the table bore is positioned to be parallel to the longitudinal axis of the axial hinge piece base. A snap is secured with the axially extending table bore on the annular table-like flange for attachment to a fishing line.

摘要： A front end loader has a loading bucket secured to a tractor and a transversely elongate cutter blade closely spaced forward of a lower front edge of the bucket. Improved apparatus for reciprocating the blade in forward and aft directions relative to the front edge of the bucket is disclosed. A force transmitting beam has a resonant frequency with at least on node and first and second anti-nodes at the resonant frequency. A source of vibrations at or near the resonant frequency is coupled to the beam near the first anti-node to vibrate the second anti-node about a neutral position. The beam is secured near one node so as to locate the neutral position of the second anti-node in spaced relationship from the cutting blade within striking distance thereof. The second anti-node thus applies unidirectional force impulses to the blade in a forward direction as the second anti-node vibrates to drive the blade intermittently forward.
