摘要： A panel structure mounted on the roof of a building for permitting solar energy to pass therethrough into the building. The panel structure includes a first translucent panel having corrugations running in a first direction. A second translucent panel is placed on top of the first translucent panel with the corrugations running perpendicular thereto. The two panels are secured together and sealing members are interposed between the first and second panels. Upper surfaces of the sealing members are complementary in shape with the corrugations for mating with the upper panel and producing a seal between the panels along two edges thereof. A second sealing strip seals the other two edges of the panels. Thus, a structurally strong and lightweight panel is produced that can be readily mounted on a roof.

摘要： A spacer for retrofitting corrugated metal roofs. The spacer includes a foam block having a notched bottom for receiving the corrugations of a metal roof. The opposite ends of the foam block are respectively provided with tongue and groove fittings. An adhesive layer is applied to the bottom surface of the foam block for securing the foam block to the metal roof. A high-density foam strip is affixed to the top of the foam block for supporting a corrugated, metal panel above.

摘要： A building has sidewalls, roof and at least one floor formed of preformed panels of flat corrugated steel decking, the sidewall and roof panels providing, if desired, both outer skin and load bearing members. Where the roof panels meet the sidewalls at the eaves, and where the floor ends meet the end walls reinforcing strips are provided, each strip has a corrugated portion nesting with and secured to the wall and another portion secured to the floor or roof, the two portions being rigidly secured together, as by welding. The portion secured to the roof or floor is preferably formed to nest therewith. A ridge strip nesting with the roof panels is also preformed with two portions secured together at the desired ridge angle. Partitions are also formed of the same type of panels and footing panels of the same corrugated material nest with and are secured to the wall panels, the footing panels terminating in transversely extending corrugated pads adapted to be sunk in concrete or like material.

摘要： The closure strip having a pair of longitudinal side walls with undulating top edges configured to mate with the corrugations of corrugated sheet material. The side walls are interconnected by a plurality of support ribs. The side walls are also angled outward toward the bottom edges. A hollow nesting volume is formed between the side and below the support ribs in the region of each of the undulation peaks of the closure strip. This configuration allows successive closure strips to be nested one into another by inserting the undulation peaks of one closure strip into the hollow nesting volume under corresponding undulation peaks in another closure strip.
