摘要： A buckle assembly including a first buckle portion having an outwardly projecting engagement member. The assembly further includes a second buckle portion including an extended socket structure with one or more resilient biasing arms disposed radially outboard of the extended socket structure. A sleeve member is disposed in reciprocating relation to the second buckle portion at least partially about the extended socket structure. A camming surface is disposed in substantially fixed relation to the sleeve member radially outboard from the resilient biasing arms. The camming surface includes at least one concavity engaging one or more of the resilient biasing arms.

摘要： A fail safe hold open telescoping rod movable from a retracted to an extended position. A locking member coacts with telescoping tubes of the rod to allow the tubes to be fully extended by pulling the member away from the tubes and locking the same in a retracted position permitting extension of the tubes without need for manually holding the locking member. When the fully extended position is reached, the locking member automatically returns to a lock position holding the tubes in a fully extended position.

The sliding block (10) is mounted so that it can travel between a forward position, in which a first bearing surface of the locking member (5) bears against the sliding block (10), corresponding to the position in which the bolt is unlocked, and a rear position, in which the locking member has oscillated relative to the body so that a second bearing surface of the locking member bears against this sliding block, this rear position of the sliding block corresponding to the position in which the bolt is locked.

摘要： A safety clasp for necklaces, bracelets and the like is provided with a leaf spring member having its ends canted outwardly so as to enter and engage receiving apertures formed in an outer member. Retaining rings are provided at each end of the separable clasp with the outer member having an outer tubular sleeve with an open and a closed end and with apertures formed intermediate its length. An inner member is slidable and rotatable within the outer member and carries the leaf spring by a spine member with said spring secured at its midlength at the inner end of the spine. Receiving means for the leaf spring is provided in and along the spine and a bias such as a coil spring is secured at the closed end and internal of the outer member to urge the inner member outwardly. A quarter-turn of this inner member is made to bring the ends of the leaf spring from in way of the apertures formed in the outer member.
