Abstract:
Apparatus for removing a sealing plug from a bore, the sealing plug has an outer sleeve and an inner stem retained within the outer sleeve, the removal taking place after a suitable hole has been drilled part-way into the stem, the removal apparatus has a tapered punch for forcible insertion into the hole in the stem to create an interference fit between the punch and the stem and thereafter driving the stem out of the sleeve while also retaining the stem on the punch by virtue of the interference fit, and sleeve-engaging portion engagable with the sleeve after the punch has removed the stem from the sleeve, the sleeve-engaging portion and the punch being thereafter removable from the bore to remove both the sleeve and the stem from the bore while the sleeve and the stem are both retained on the appropriate parts of the apparatus.
Abstract:
A pipe adjustment tool for use in aligning the confronting ends of a pair of pipe sections having a joint therebetween provides a frame having a seating surface for acting against an exterior surface of a pipe section. The seating surface being disposed at a 45-degree angle relative to a threaded bore of the frame. A flexible clamping member is attached to the frame at one end and is a of length to substantially encircle the pipe section. The opposite end of the clamping member is received and secured by a retainer. The retainer and the frame are connected together by an articulated joint formed by a ball-shaped end of a threaded bolt extending through frame and a ball-shaped socket in the retainer. The retainer and frame are movably relative to each other by operating the threaded bolt to provide tension in the clamping member about the pipe section.
Abstract:
A structure for installing a split style diamond disk, having a fixing plate, a spring press plate, a connection plate, and a plurality of fast installation grinding blocks. The spring press plate is fixed to the fixing plate through screws with springs sleeved thereon, and the connection plate runs through the spring press plate and connects with the fixing plate by screws. The fixing plate has a plurality of L-shaped grooves provided therein, through which the fast installation grinding blocks are mounted on the fixing plate. The fast installation structure is mounted on an equipment shaft through the connection plate. The structure improves the capacity utilization and work efficiency of the grinding blocks.
Abstract:
When, while a resin-made clamping block molded to cover a part of a turbine blade is placed on a seat part, paired sliders disposed on opposite sides of the seat part are made to move closer to the resin-made clamping block, paired wedge members provided respectively on the paired sliders engage with notches formed respectively in paired side surfaces, opposed to each other, of the resin-made clamping block to generate cracks. Accordingly, it is possible to divide the resin-made clamping block into at least two pieces and to reliably remove the resin-made clamping block from the turbine blade. Furthermore, since the resin-made clamping block is not broken by a mechanical strike, there is no fear that the turbine blade might be damaged due to an erroneous setting of the strike force.
Abstract:
A removal tool includes a staking unit configured to deform a circlip located at a bore of an apparatus when the removal tool is pushed into the bore, and a spring fork unit configured to push a ferrule ring located at the bore when the removal tool is pushed into the bore.

Abstract:
An apparatus for gripping smooth and/or deformed cylindrical or multiple stranded tendons (rods) commonly used in the Art of Construction, the apparatus comprising a housing (barrel), a plurality of jaws (wedges) within the housing, a tightening device to align the jaws (wedges) and to cause engagement of the jaws (wedges) to the tendon (rod), a tensioning device to properly position the apparatus. The tendon (rod) gripping apparatus includes a first aperture and a second aperture that facilitate passage of a tendon (rod) through the apparatus. The jaw (wedge) cluster comprises a plurality of elongated members, that surround the tendon (rod), are generally wedge shaped and complementary to an inner tapered wall of the housing (barrel).
Abstract:
The device is based on using a thrust bolt in a modified C-clamp design to push a pressure plate to pry apart two intersecting flanges of a profile. The device is primarily used for on-boat repairing of aluminum extrusion profile boat toe rails that have segments of their vertical flanges crushed inward. It has utility for bending any flanges apart that are greater than 20 and less than 160 degrees apart to start with. It has utility for bending flanges apart that are made from any material, such as metal, that has an elastic limit and enough plastic flow to permanently bend without rupture.
