    摘要: A holding assembly for an edge of a flexible film sheeting where the assembly comprises an elongate flexible channel member for extending along the edge and an elongate locking strip detachably engagable within the channel member for clamping the associated film sheeting therebetween has the locking strip moved into place by a guide body arranged for sliding movement across a support surface such as the ground on which the film sheeting is located. The guide body having a slot therein for receiving the channel member and carries a pivotal lever including a pair of rollers for guiding and forcing the locking strip into place. The guide body is carried on a skid and moves underneath the edge of the film across the width of the opening to be closed.

    摘要: Disclosed is an apparatus for inserting a seal into a slewing bearing including a main body and a pressing unit. The main body is fixed to any one of a first ring and a second ring of the slewing bearing. The pressing unit projects from the main body toward a sealing installation position of the other one of the first ring and the second ring. The pressing unit is installed by pressing a seal supplied from the exterior to the sealing installation position toward the sealing installation position as the first ring and the second ring are relatively rotated. Therefore, the seal is installed at the sealing installation position between the first ring and the second ring of the slewing bearing so that the seal of the slewing bearing can be easily exchanged and an exchange operation time of the seal can be reduced.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a tape squeezing device for folding back side edge portions in a width direction of a strip of adhesive tape applied on a work to run the side edge portions over respective side end portions of the work. The tape squeezing device includes a main body formed with a V-shaped first groove portion having an open angle, a V-shaped second groove portion have a smaller open angle than the open angle of the first groove portion, and a V-shaped third groove portion having substantially the same open angles as the open angle of the second groove portion, each of the groove portions being spaced apart from one another at a predetermined interval. The tape squeezing device also includes an expandable elastic sheet fixed to the main body and arranged to contact the side end portions of the work and cover a portion of one of the three grooved portions, the elastic sheet having a cushion layer and a lubricating surface layer. The third groove portion has a base end portion integral with the main body and a tip end portion pivotable toward and away form the base end portion for permitting the open angle of the third groove portion to be reduced relative to the open angle of the second groove portion.

    摘要: An improved, self-feeding, screening installation tool is disclosed, comprising a main body of generally oval configuration, with an integral handle portion configured to be used as a handle. Two generally cylindrical discs are rotatably affixed to the anterior and posterior portions of the main body. A spool holding assembly is located at the end of an extension arm that extends outward and upward from the upper anterior portion of the main body. The spool holding assembly is designed to hold a traditional cylindrically configured spool of spline. With the spool installed, the spline material is threaded through the main body, under the handle portion, and around the discs, which are used to force the material into the screen frame channel. This allows the user to simply run the discs of the present invention in the screen frame channels, automatically feeding the spline into the channel. Another embodiment discloses an elongated design with a spline spool being mounted directly to two extension arms, extending upward and outward from near the posterior of the present invention, and a spline guidance tube guiding the spline to the anterior disc.

    摘要: An improved tool for, and a method of, crimping weatherstrips in an essentially continuous motion along the in-place weatherstrip, e.g. about a door flange or the like. the head is provided with a handle extending from the top therefrom at a convenient angle to allow an operator to assume a position alongside the door flange. The handle, or at least the grip thereof, is capable of swiveling about the longitudinal axis of the handle, to reduce stress on the hands, wrists, and arms of an operator by permitting guiding motion of the tool ahead around the door flange while minimizing the amount of turning of arms or hands, or re-positioning of the operator's body, as the tool is caused to progress entirely along the length of the weatherstrip. This length is often the entire perimeter of the door opening. In using this improved tool to perform the crimping operation, the operator can move his/her arm in a generally circular motion, causing the tool head to follow the door opening flange, while the swivel handle accommodates the changes in angle as this motion proceeds. Another feature of the invention is the provision of a spring-loaded crimping roller pivotally mounted on the tool head, in opposition to a fixed crimping roller. Preferably, both crimping rollers are power driven. This allows the axes of the crimping rollers, and the spacing between them, to vary as the tool progresses in its action, so as to accommodate changes in thickness of the door opening flange.
