Abstract:
The present invention is a slow cooker. It has a housing, a container disposed in a hollow body of the housing, a lid and a sealing ring which sealingly engage the lid and the container. The container has a rim which is securely disposed with an engaging means for engaging with the lid. The engaging means comprises a movable member and an upper stationary member securely disposed on the rim of the container. The upper stationary member has an upper surface which is disposed with a sliding plate for the movable member to move thereon. The sliding plate has a limiting end surface atop for limiting movement of the movable member. A space is formed between the limiting end surface and the sliding plate for a tongue of the movable member to pass through. The movable member is disposed on the sliding plate of the upper stationary member. The tongue of the movable member passes through the space of the upper stationary member to press onto the lid, and the movable member is secured onto the sliding plate of the upper stationary member via a snapping means. The present invention is simple in structure, convenient and practical, capable of preventing spillage of liquid content, and is convenient to operate, uses only few component parts, simple to assemble, and is therefore capable of enhancing manufacturing efficiency and substantially lowering the costs.
Abstract:
A cowling latch for an engine nacelle or the like. The latch characterized by having a collet for engaging a pin extending outwardly from a keeper assembly. The collet when the latch handle is in a closed position secures the pin against the movement of the latch in tension and in shear.
Abstract:
The invention provides a mandrel comprising a shaft (1) the forward end of which has the shape of a forward pointing truncated cone (7), an expanding sleeve (15) constituted by a ring provided with longitudinal slits designed to slide over said conical forward end (7), and piston (8) which is guided in a cylindrical bore provided along the axis of the mandrel shaft (1), from which it projects forwards, with the sliding of said piston (8) driving said sleeve (15) so as to control the gripping or the releasing on said mandrel of a workpiece to be machined. According to the invention, the forward end of the piston (8) has the shape of a rearward pointing truncated cone (12), and the inner wall of the sleeve (15) has the shape of two successive truncated cones (17, 18) orientated mirror image fashion, with the apex angle of the forward cone (18) of the sleeve (15), which is capable of mating with said cone (12) of the piston, being greater than the apex angle of the rear cone (17) of the sleeve (15), which is capable of mating with said cone (7) of the shaft (1). Application to the gripping of workpieces having a cylindrical or conical bore.
Abstract:
A face panel for a computer housing includes a face panel body and a cover plate assembly. The face panel body includes a surrounding wall and a mounting hole. The surrounding wall has first and second engaging grooves. The cover plate assembly includes a cover plate, a locking member, and an unlocking member. The cover plate has a first engaging hook for engaging the first engaging groove, and a guide groove. The locking member is assembled to the guide groove, and has a second engaging hook, a post, and a restoring resilient plate to apply a pressure to the cover plate so as to enable the second engaging hook to engage the second engaging groove. The unlocking member has an operating portion, and a contact portion movable with the operating portion so as to push the post for disengaging the second engaging hook from the second engaging groove.
