    摘要: An improved oscillating sprinkler comprising a frame having a sprinkler tube mounted for oscillating movement on the frame. An inlet water housing is mounted on the frame and supplies water to the sprinkler tube. The sprinkler tube is driven in an oscillating path by a crank arm, and an eccentric gear mechanism driven by the water being supplied to the sprinkler tube is operably connected to the crank arm. The eccentric gear mechanism is constructed to provide a variable speed output that balances the varible speed output of the crank arm to provide a substantially uniform velocity of oscillating movement for the sprinkler tube. The sprinkler also includes a mechanism for varying the effective length of the crank arm to change the arc of oscillation of the sprinkler tube, and a slip clutch mechanism interconnects the inner end of the sprinkler tube to the housing to permit the sprinkler tube to be manually rotated to shift the spray pattern to one side or the other.

    摘要: A variable-ratio transmission device. A first translational member is pivotally intercoupled to a first rotational member by at least one connecting arm. The connecting arm has a first portion pivotally connected to the first translational member at a first pivot point, and a second portion pivotally and adjustably connected to the first rotational member at a first radial attachment point removed from the center of rotation of the first rotational member. The first radial attachment point and the center of rotation thereby define a first attachment radius. The location of the first radial attachment point with respect to the first rotational member is variable to thereby increase and decrease the first attachment radius, which in turn modifies a ratio of movement between the first rotational member and the first translational member.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for driving a winding head of a stator winding machine. The winding head is the end of a winding shaft which reciprocates and oscillates. The reciprocation of the winding shaft (5) is driven by rocking drive means (13) connected to motor means (10) and comprises means for balancing comprising at least two counter rotating counterweights (26, 31) which rotate about a driving shaft (12) in planes parallel to the axis of the wire winding shaft (5). The rocking drive means comprise a bar (22), orthogonal to the wire winding shaft (5) and to the driving shaft (12), which has a component of motion parallel to the wire winding shaft (5). The reciprocation stroke (8) and the balancing of the apparatus can be carried out with an easy operation from the outside (39) by means of a tooling, manual or automatic.
