The lawn mower includes a body frame (1), and a bracket unit (39) attached to a rear of the body frame (1). A gate frame (40) is provided for supporting the grass catcher (32) to be displaceable between a collecting posture with an opening of the grass catcher (32) opposed to the grass collecting duct (31), and a discharging posture with the opening directed downward. The gate frame (40) defines first connecting areas (50) for enabling connection to a lift link mechanism (47) for vertically moving the gate frame (40) relative to the body frame (1), and second connecting areas (60) for enabling direct connection to the bracket unit (39). The first connecting areas (50) have connecting pins (51) connectable to distal ends of swing arms (45) of the lift link mechanism (47) used according to circumstances. The second connecting areas (60) have connecting bores (49) alignable with connecting bores (48) formed in the bracket unit (39).

摘要： A foot pedal lift system is provided for the mower deck of a lawn or garden tractor. The foot pedal is pivotally mounted to the frame of the tractor and is linked to the linkage arms which suspend the mower deck from the frame. The pedal is movable between a depressed forward position to raise the mower deck to a transport position and a retracted rearward position to move the mower deck to a lower removal position. The pedal can be locked in the depressed or retracted positions by a latch pivotally mounted on the exterior of the tractor console. Engagement and disengagement of the latch with the foot pedal is controlled by a handle mounted on the console connected to the latch by an elongated connecting rod. Pulling upwardly on the handle locks the latch into engagement with the foot pedal in both the depressed and retracted positions. Pushing downwardly on the handle disengages the latch from the foot pedal so that the mower deck is free to move upwardly or downwardly.

The device (12) comprises a cutting tool for reducing the size of the trees (14) fed thereto, an ejector (16), which is mounted on the cutting tool and provided for ejecting the trees (14) cut in the cutting tool, and a feed device (18) that, in a direction of travel (50), is located in front of the cutting tool and provided for feeding the trees (14) to be cut into the cutting tool. The feed device (18) comprises two driven, vertical draw-in rollers (22, 24; 60, 62), which are located close to the ground and form a gap (20). When operating the device (12), these rollers seize trees (14) that are pushed down in the direction of travel (50), squeeze them inside the gap (20) and push them toward the cutting tool. The feed device (18) also comprises at least one driven clearing roller (28) placed in the ground (26) whereby being situated transversal to the direction of travel (50). When the device (12) is operated, this clearing roller seizes roots (30) of the pressed-down trees (14) located in the ground (26) and pushes them upward so they can be fed to the cutting tool.

A preferred embodiment of the weed trimmer comprises a domed guard structure that encompasses the effective cutting range of a prior art weed trimmer. Alternative embodiments may comprise elements that protect only portions of front, side and rear cutting areas. Embodiments of the invention also allow a user to lift up a cover element to allow close work among obstructions. Embodiments of the present invention also improve the performance of prior art weed trimmers by increasing cutting performance and preventing flexible materials from wrapping about the cutting elements and shafts.
