    摘要: The present disclosure is a handheld harvester apparatus including a threshing drum configured to rotate. The harvester may further include a plurality of teeth connected to the threshing drum and configured to strip seeds from a head of a plant. The harvester also includes a screening assembly coupled to the threshing drum. The screening assembly is configured to receive seeds and plant material from the threshing drum and to eject the plant material from the harvester and direct the seeds downward. The harvester further includes a first screen configured to receive the seeds from the screening assembly and to allow seeds sized below a predetermined threshold to pass through the first screen and to prevent plant material exceeding the predetermined threshold to pass through the first screen. The harvester may further include a collection chamber coupled to the first screen and configured to receive the seeds.

    摘要: A stripper type harvesting machine has a forward harvesting header that carries a plurality of modular independently vertically shiftable stripping units at the front end of the header for engaging the upper seed bearing portions of a standing crop as the machine advances over the field. Each stripping unit comprises an axially transverse rotor having a plurality of disk-like stripping elements mounted side-by-side on the rotor, each stripping element including a hub and a relatively thin annular web portion coaxially mounted on the hub. A plurality of ribs project laterally from the opposite sides of the web portion and extend outwardly from the hub to the periphery of the stripping element. The stripping unit rotors are rotated so that the front side of the stripping element moves upwardly, and the header is positioned so that the heads of the standing grain are normally above the axis of the rotors, so that the lateral surface on the leading side of the ribs impact the grain heads in a generally stemwise direction to propel the grain and other material separated from the crop stems upwardly and rearwardly. The separated material is then directed rearwardly on the machine to a cleaning mechanism which separates the grain from the other crop material.

    摘要: A harvester-thresher has a frame adapted to be pulled along the ground and formed with a forwardly-opening slot which is flanked by a pair of flailing elements that are displaced back and forth relative to this slot without cutting or pulling up this crop in order to thresh grain or the like from a crop passing upwardly through the slot. The flailing elements can be a pair of vibratorily reciprocal elements operated by a crank arrangement. It is also possible to use a pair of rotatable supports which each carry a pair of polygonal-section rollers that are orbited next to the slot and are themselves rotated about their own axes to flail the grain off the crops. The two assemblies are interconnected by a pair of gears and the individual rollers are themselves rotated by means of a V-belt or an internal gear connected to the ends of these rollers.

    摘要: An apparatus for harvesting crop including a rotor (11) mounting on a movable frame (12) and carrying a succession of transverse combs (14) each formed of an array of outwardly projectint teetch (15) traverse to the direction of movement of the apparatus through the crop. Each tooth (15) is pointed with side edges diverging away from the distal tip of the tooth. The rotor rotates in the overshot mode and the combs intrude into the crop and gather crop stems between adjacent pairs of teeth and detach grain and grain heads, or other required crop parts, by rubbing or breaking the parts free from the stems. The junction of adjacent teeth (15) preferably has an enlarged aperture (21) to assist striping and to allow withdrawal of striped stems. In other embodiments, the teeth may be replaced by a brush-like structure or by rods or other crop engaging elements, backed by plain transverse ribs for collecting and conveying detached crop parts.

    摘要: A machine to harvest sugar cane comprising a cutting disk to cut the standing cane. The disk is mounted on a convex shaped member gliding on the ground. A chain assembly seizes the cut cane to lead it between two belts which introduce it in an airblast column. At the entry of the airblast column, the cut cane is sliced sideways in the sense of movement of the cane. In the airblast column the cane is stripped and then loaded in a pick-up cart while the wastes are left on the ground.

    摘要: The disclosure is directed to a seed harvester for dichondra. The harvester is a wheeled vehicle drawn by a tractor or the like which passes over the dichondra crop and picks up seed bearing plant material by means of a rubber paddled beater. The plant material is carried upwardly to a cyclone separator, which removes and discharges dust and dirt while allowing heavier material to fall into a seed removing cylinder. The resulting seed and residual plant material and dirt are then dropped onto a first shaker screen having two grid configurations, the first of which allows ground up dirt and other fine material to fall through to be discharged. The remaining material, including loosened seeds, moves onto the second grid and drops through onto a differential belt thresher which removes the remaining seed and grinds up residual material into fine particles. This residue is disposed of through the finer grid portion of a second multigrid screen, the seed passing onto a second grid and being exposed to a cleaning fan upon dropping therethrough. The seed undergoes a final screening before discharge into collection boxes.
