    摘要: A hay bale lifting and transport device is mounted on a transport vehicle having a cab and having a rear bed area located behind the cab which defines a generally rectangular shaped, exposed top planar surface. The lifting apparatus includes a pair of elongate hay bale spikes affixed to a mounting assembly so that the spikes are spaced apart a fixed distance and are arranged in a plane parallel to one another. The spikes and mounting assembly are received in an opening formed in the rear planar bed of the transport vehicle when the spikes are in a first, fully retracted position, the central axis of each of the spikes being located below the plane of the rear bed. An actuating mechanism acts upon the mounting assembly for moving the pair of spikes around a pivot axis between the fully retracted position and an extended position in which the spikes are arranged to engage a bale of hay.

    摘要: A bale transporter (1) for transporting four rows (3) of bales (2) comprises a chassis (5), a first framework (20) mounted on the chassis (5) for carrying a lower two of the rows (3) of bales (2), and a secondary framework (26) for carrying an upper two of rows (3) of bales (2). A pair of transfer elements (60) are pivotally coupled to the chassis (5) about respective first pivot axes (61) between a first state for picking up bales from the ground, and a second state for transferring the bales onto the main and secondary frameworks (20) and (26). The secondary framework (26) is urgeable between a first state adjacent the main framework (20) and a raised second state spaced apart above the secondary framework (26). Initially, with the secondary framework (26) in the first state, two rows (3) of bales (2) are picked up by the transfer elements (60) and transferred onto the secondary framework (26) which is then urged upwardly into the second state. The next two rows (3) of bales (2) are then picked up by the transfer elements (60) and are transferred onto the main framework (20).

    摘要: A bale mover with self-adjusting spinners for loading/unloading bales and unrolling bales. The bale mover includes a cross member and a pair of opposing arms that extend generally orthogonally to the cross member. The cross member is pivotable about an axis extending transverse to the bale mover to move the arms to extend away from the bale mover. The arms are moveable toward one another to pinch a bale between distal ends thereof. A spinner is provided at the distal end of each arm. The spinners include axles secured to the arms and spinner bodies which are rotatable about the respective axles to facilitate rotation of a bale engaged by the spinners. The spinners are also pivotable relative to the axles to enable alignment of the spinners with surfaces of the bale.

    摘要: A bale loading trailer has a bale supporting frame mounted on wheels. A fork assembly is pivotally mounted beside a front end of the frame configured to engage a bale when in a lowered position, and to disengage the bale when in a raised position such that the bale moves onto the front end of the bale supporting frame. A hydraulic cylinder moves the fork assembly between positions. A hydraulic motor driven conveyor chain assembly extends along the bale supporting frame, and loaded bales rest on, and move along the frame in concert with, the conveyor chain. A valve circuit connects the hydraulic cylinder and the hydraulic motor drive such that as the fork assembly moves from the raised position to the lowered position, hydraulic fluid flows from the hydraulic cylinder through the hydraulic motor drive and causes the conveyor chain assembly to move a bale length rearward.
