The climate chamber includes a substantially closed compartment having two opposing lateral walls provided with one or more passages, and a substantially closed channel which extends around the outside of the compartment and connects one of said lateral walls to the other of said lateral walls in order to form together with the compartment a substantially closed circuit. The product is placed in the climate chamber, and then the conditioned gas is circulating through the circuit. The direction in which the conditioned gas stream is circulated through the circuit is reversed repeatedly.

摘要： During the incubating of living eggs in a closed volume the desired conditions are maintained by pre-conditioning air in a pre-conditioner outside the volume and passing the preconditioned air through the volume at a rate in accordance with the conditions in the volume as sensed by a wet-bulb thermometer within the volume. Rate is controlled by a drive fan or by an adjustable damper in either an inlet or outlet of the volume. If the pre-conditioning of the air is carried out in a suitable manner, the metabolic products of the eggs can be substantially balanced by the air introduced into the volume at a controlled overall rate, so that the desired environmental conditions are maintained in the volume. In a hatcher, various different conditions required at different stages of the hatching, can be selected automatically.

摘要： An insulated egg incubator having a base pan with a bottom into which eggs are placed for incubation until hatching. Water channels are evenly disbursed in the bottom of the base pan for adding water and humidity to the incubator. A plastic molded screen is located in the base pan above the water channels to support the eggs. A top lid of a smaller dimension than the base pan is provided for completely nesting upside down into the base pan for shipping of the incubator. A window is in the top lid for viewing within the incubator. An insulated heater with a plastic fan assembly is mounted to the inside of the top lid. A digital control unit is mounted in the top lid with a rectifier connected to and controlling the on-off modes of the heater and the fan. A thermistor is provided inside the top lid and connected to the control unit placeable on the eggs for displaying the temperature within the incubator at the top of the eggs and inputting temperature readings to the control unit for operation of the heater. A humidity sensor is located inside the top lid and connected to the control unit for displaying the humidity within the incubator. A power cord with a plug is provided for connection and supply of electrical power to the control unit.

摘要： A small animal veterinary incubator is disclosed with an animal holding drawer that can be inserted into a temperature controlled enclosure and removed when not in use for cleaning and disinfecting. In various embodiments the incubator is portable, is at least partly transparent, controls interior oxygen and/or humidity, can use a hose to bring oxygen into close proximity with incubated animals, can introduce water-nebulized air or oxygen into the drawer through a hole, and can include a holder for a humidity bottle that humidifies air or oxygen supplied to the incubator. Some embodiments use an adjustable or regulated lamp to warm the incubator using an infrared bulb of 50 or 75 Watts. Temperature, humidity, and/or oxygen gages or sensors can be included, and the temperature, oxygen, and/or humidity can be automatically regulated. Preferred embodiment include closable vents that can be opened to allow for ventilation when only temperature is controlled.
