摘要: The present invention includes a method for creating a portable and quickly dissolving tea or other tea-like botanical tablet that can be used to prepare a flavorful, visually appealing, and clear cup of tea. The novel process may include the steps of: (1) extraction/infusion, (2) clarification, (3) concentrate preparation, (4) degassing the concentrate, and (5) chunkification. A spinning cone column may be used during the extraction/infusion step to preserve the aromatics and nutrients from the tea leaves, leading to better taste and improved retention of compounds thought to be beneficial to human health. A centrifuge may be used to remove suspended solids during the clarification step and a pressure chamber or sonication device may be used during the degassing step. Chunkification may involve the freezing of the concentrate followed by the removal of water from the concentrate to create a solid tablet of easily portable shape and size. The tea tablet quickly dissolves when added to hot or warm water, and it dissolves in cold water with some additional agitation.

摘要: A process for the separation of a solvent from a substance in solution or in suspension in this solvent, or containing this solvent, comprising solidifying the solvent and then separating it from the substance by sublimation at reduced pressure in a lyophilisation chamber, in which an atmosphere is created within the chamber consisting essentially of a gaseous medium capable of existing in condensed state at a temperature above -196*C and of having at that temperature a saturated vapour pressure not exceeding 2 torrs, the medium is then condensed on a cooled surface the temperature of which is such that the saturated vapour pressure of the medium does not exceed 2 torrs, and the solvent is then separated from the substance by sublimation and is condensed on the cooled surface.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a method of producing an instantly soluble powder quickly dissolving by only pouring hot water or water thereupon in the production of powders including tea and flavorous beverages such as coffee according to vacuum freeze-drying, which comprises, in subjecting a solution having the solids content of 5 weight % or more to vacuum freeze-drying, incorporating a gaseous body of 10 volume % or more therein to form foams at the time of freezing, and then subjecting the mixture to vacuum freeze-drying. Another object of the present invention is to provide a method of producing an instantly soluble powder (an instant tea powder) having almost the same flavor, taste and appearance as those of ordinary tea directly extracted with hot water from tea leaves represented by green tea, brown rice tea, toasted tea, oolong tea and black tea and being excellent in solubility, which comprises subjecting an extract solution from tea leaves to condensation by means of a reverse osmosis membrane, adding and mixing a powder of tea leaves therein, subjecting the obtained mixture to foam-containing freezing, and then freeze-drying it after a adjustment of a particle size of it or adjusting the particle size of it after the freeze-drying.
