摘要： An adjustable bed assembly for a vehicle includes a contoured bed frame, a foundation disposed in the bed frame and coupled to an articulated frame having a support platform with a plurality of sectional support members. A linkage mechanism couples the support platform to the foundation and a drive mechanism operably coupled to the linkage assembly adjusts the position of at least one sectional support member. A mattress is disposed on the support platform and configured to conform with the plurality of sectional support members. A monitor mounted on the bed frame is movable between a retracted position and an extended position. A control device has a first preset for concurrently adjusting the articulated frame and moving the monitor.

摘要： A lift system includes a support configured to maintain a bed frame thereon. The support is defined by a first swing arm opposing a second swing arm and a pivoting plate opposing an end plate. First ends of the swing arms are configured to swing outward about ends of the pivoting plate. Second ends of the swing arms removably attach to the end plate to form a rectangular structure for securely receiving a bed frame. The lift system also includes a storage unit defined by a lift gate configured within an interior of the storage unit. The lift gate includes a linear actuator for converting the support between a folded and an unfolded position by manipulating the pivoting plate coupled to the linear actuator. A controller is provided for controlling the lift gate.

摘要： A foldout cabinet bed has two faces that fold out from a vertical position to a horizontal position, thereby creating a surface that can be used for sleeping. Each face has two side rails for enclosing an area for placing a mattress. The rails are dimensionally asymmetrical such that one of the faces has a smaller rail height/depth than the adjacent rail on the other face. The shorter rail height is smaller than the thickness of the mattress, thus allowing a user to comfortably sit on the edge of the mattress. The taller rail height is larger than the thickness of the mattress and provides a headboard.

摘要： Several embodiments of a new concealable bed system, which comprises a new combination of a folding bed assembly (112), a drawer assembly (110), and a drawer support-and-control assembly (120)are disclosed. The embodiments allow the space-savings and convenience of sleeper sofas to be extended to a wide variety of other furniture types or other constructions, including but not limited to desks, entertainment centers, cabinets, closets, etc. In the closed position, the embodiments can look like any other drawer in a piece of furniture, custom millwork, etc., but when opened the folding bed assembly is exposed and can be easily deployed. Thus the new concealable bed system provides a more efficient, durable, and flexible option for concealing a bed than sleeper sofas, Murphy beds, trundle beds, roll-away beds, or inflatable beds.

摘要： A counterbalancing assembly for an article of folding furniture comprises at least one piston extending between a support assembly and a furniture component, said piston being biased to resist a downward force of gravity acting on the furniture component. An upper mounting bracket secures a first end of the piston to the support assembly, and a lower mounting bracket secures a second end of the piston to the furniture component. One or both of the upper and lower mounting brackets includes a worm gear and a mounting element that is threaded onto the worm gear. Each such mounting element has a portion adapted to engage a complementary fitting defined by a respective end of the piston, such that rotation of the worm gear causes a corresponding linear movement of the mounting element, and thus, linear movement of the respective end of the piston.

摘要： A rolling foldout cabinet bed has two faces that fold out from a vertical to a horizontal position, thereby creating a surface that can be used for sleeping. When the cabinet is closed, a space within the cabinet stores a foldable innerspring, or other mattress. The two faces can be locked together in the folded position. During deployment, an elastic belt or other retainer and hold the folded mattress to one of the faces, and can also pull the mattress out of the interior space within the bottom of the cabinet. The cabinet also has legs for supporting the faces above the ground when in the opened configuration, and can include wheels that facilitate moving the cabinet quickly and easily moved.

摘要： A convertible furniture frame assembly (8) having a stationary base assembly (12) that supports at least one retractable supporting means (14, 16). This supporting means (14, 16) is used to support retractable furniture components (10a, 10b) as they are raised and lowered. The invention further incorporates at least one generally horizontal self standing support means (18) to stabilize the furniture frame assembly (8) and at least one torsion system (20, 20') that aids users in raising and lowering the furniture components (10a, 10b).
