The device includes navigation means for moving it to the desired cleaning location and climbing over such obstacles as electrical cables and pneumatic tubes placed on the hot-cell floor to be cleaned, suction and collection means for dislodging, filtering, and capturing high radioactive waste debris, and cover means for protecting suction and collection means. The device that is operated by remote control cleans and collects loose dry spent nuclear fuel powder and other high-radioactive waste debris adhered to both the contaminated in-cell floor and the in-cell spent nuclear fuel process and fabrication equipment, without spreading inside the hot-cell.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a hook retention portion of vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner of the present invention comprises a cleaner body with a motor installed therein; a dust collector engaged detachably in the rear of the cleaner body; and a suction hole portion for guiding air, introduced by the motor, into the cleaner. Further, in the present invention, the suction hole portion is formed with a projecting hook portion, and a hook retention portion for engaging the projecting hook portion therewith is formed in the dust collector, whereby the suction hole portion can be hung on the dust collector. Furthermore, the hook retention portion of the dust collector is formed at a handle that is prominently formed at a rear face of the dust collector. According to the constitution of the present invention, the suction hole portion can be more easily stored on the body of the vacuum cleaner wherein the dust collector is mounted to the rear face of the cleaner body.

    摘要: The moisture sensor and indicator for a wet pickup vacuum cleaner, more particularly a wet extraction type carpet cleaner, is positioned in the suction duct to sense when water droplets or moisture is traveling through the suction duct. An indicator is activated to indicate to the operator that water is being extracted from the carpet. The sensor may alternatively be located in the bottom of the floor-engaging portion where it contracts the floor. When the degree of moisture in the carpet exceeds a predetermined threshold an indicator is activated to indicate to the operator that the floor is still wet and to continue extracting moisture from the floor. Alternatively, the moisture sensor can be used as a safety device on a dry pickup vacuum cleaner. When moisture is detected within the suction duct, the motor-fan assembly of the dry pickup vacuum cleaner is disabled to prevent a potentially hazardous condition. Also, another sensor is positioned in the cleaner to detect when the moisture level of the solution or recovery tank reaches a predetermined level. An indicator is activated to indicate to the operator when the moisture level reaches the predetermined level.

    摘要: To dispose wine expectorant from a spit bucket, the interior of a portable pressurizable rigid tank is connected to a vacuum pump which draws a vacuum in the tank. The tank is disconnected from the pump and transported to the spit bucket. An inlet end of a suction conduit connected to the tank is inserted into the spit bucket. A passage from the inlet end to the tank interior is opened to cause the vacuum in the tank to draw-in the wine expectorant from the spit bucket. The tank is taken to a discharge station, and a drain of the tank is opened in order to discharge the tank contents.
