    摘要: A sealable debris bag includes a bag body having an opening, and a plate member attached to the bag body proximate the opening. First and second portions of the plate member are pivotable along a fold-line so that the first portion is engageable with the second portion to substantially seal the opening. A tab on one side of the fold-line engages a notch on the other side of the fold-line to secure the device. The fold-line can be formed in the plate member, to define the first and second portions where the portions are contiguous, or can be formed in the bag body where the portions are non-contiguous. The opening may be formed in a flexible lateral wall of the bag body, or alternately, in an end portion of the bag body. A complimentary alignment structure on plate member mates with an alignment structure on a vacuum to ensure proper alignment of the debris bag on the vacuum.

    摘要: A quick change, self-contained vacuum system includes a debris container with an input opening and a pressure head that is configured to receive a fluid under a high pressure and which includes a low pressure inlet and an exhaust port. A guide pin may be provided along with a body that is selectively engageable with the pressure head and the guide pin. The body includes a bore having a first port communicating with the exhaust port of the pressure head and a second port communicating with the input opening of the debris container. The vacuum system further includes a shutoff valve that is operable in response to movement of the guide pin. In operation, movement of the guide pin relative to the body in one direction establishes locking engagement of the pressure head and the body along with a response by the shutoff valve to establish fluid communication between the exhaust port of the pressure head and the input opening of the debris container. Movement of the guide pin relative to the body in another direction provides for separation of the pressure head and the body and response by the shutoff valve to prevent fluid communication between the first port of the bore and the input opening of the debris container.

    摘要: An outer bag assembly for an upright vacuum cleaner is disclosed. The outer bag assembly comprises a flexible, air permeable enclosure having an internal volume adapted to contain a disposable inner bag. The outer bag assembly is further comprised of an upper end adapted to provide access to the internal volume through a closure device, and an opposite end attached to a handle assembly through a bag clip assembly. In one embodiment, the closure device includes a zipper disposed along an upper front peripheral edge of the outer bag assembly that allows a front panel of the bag assembly to be partially released. In another embodiment, the closure device includes a zipper disposed along an upper front peripheral edge, and a zipper disposed along an upper rear peripheral edge of the outer bag assembly that allows a top panel of the outer bag assembly to be partially released. In still another embodiment, the closure device includes a bag cap comprised of resilient thermoplastic sections hingeably connected to allow access to the internal volume of the bag assembly. In another embodiment, a bag clip assembly adapted to retain the opposite end of the bag is disclosed. In still other embodiments, abrasion-resistant outer panels that are affixed to the outer surfaces of the outer bag assembly are disclosed.

    摘要: A mobile air duct vacuum provides an efficient method for cleaning HVAC ductwork in nearly any location. Upper and lower sections of circular cross-section are removably connected defining an air passageway. Said upper section houses 1st, 2nd and 3rd stage filters for insuring that “dirty” air passing through the system is thoroughly cleaned. Said lower section houses an air directional unit, blower wheel and motor. The motor causes the blower wheel, having spaced blades, to rotate and draw air from within the subject ductwork and through the filters thereby effectuating the cleaning. Thereafter, the clean air passes through the air directional unit into the blower wheel where it is re-directed to the surrounding environment through vents in the lower section. Wheels and a handle provide for a mobile air duct vacuum. To facilitate transportation of the vacuum the upper section and lower section can be readily disjoined.

    摘要: A dirt collecting system for a vacuum cleaner includes a dirt cup having a dirt collecting chamber. The dirt cup is removably inserted into the housing of a vacuum cleaner. When the dirt cup is inserted into the housing, the dirt cup is fluidly connected to the suction nozzle and a suction source. The dirt cup is provided with a pivotally connected lid and a thumb tab located on the lid. The thumb tab is used to move the lid into the open position when the dirt cup is emptied. A handle is provided on the front of the dirt cup for grasping the dirt cup during removal from the vacuum cleaner housing and during emptying.

    摘要: The invention relates to a dust bag to be used primarily in vacuum cleaners, the dust bag having at least two opposing wall portions of filter material in an overlaying state and an intake opening for receiving a socket piece of a vacuum cleaner. The two opposing wall portions are connected to each other at one edge forming an outer edge of the dust bag. The wall portions each have recess open to the outer edge. The recesses (36a, 36b) are identical in their shape and size and opposed to each other in the overlaying state. The two recesses of the wall portions form the intake opening. Additionally, the intake opening can be surrounded by a mounting means for mounting the dust bag at a socket piece from which dust-like material is discharged. The mounting means includes at least two mounting elements each fixed to one of the two wall portions.
