摘要： A bag housing assembly for a vacuum cleaner includes a rear bag housing which forms a bag cavity and a bag door which releasably attaches to the rear bag housing for enclosing the bag cavity. One of the rear bag housing and bag door is formed of a semi-rigid flexible fabric material which is permeable to air and which is sufficiently rigid to retain a molded shape. The flexible fabric material is attached to a rigid frame member which allows the bag door to releasably attach to the rear bag housing.

摘要： A cleaning apparatus for cleaning a surface in which cleaning solution is dispensed to the surface and substantially simultaneously extracted along with the dirt on the surface in a continuous operation is provided. In one aspect of the invention, the cleaning apparatus includes a housing and a recovery tank removably mounted to the housing. A solution tank for supplying a flow of cleaning solution to the surface is removably mounted to the housing. A suction nozzle is secured to the housing and is in fluid communication with the recovery tank. A suction source is in fluid communication with the suction nozzle for generating suction to draw dirt and liquid through the suction nozzle and into the recovery tank. A first latch is operatively connected to the solution tank to releasably latch the solution tank to the housing and a second latch is operatively connected to the recovery tank to releasably latch the recovery tank to said housing, wherein the second latch is in close proximity to the first latch.

A suction nozzle is secured to the base portion. A suction source is in fluid communication with the suction nozzle for generating suction to draw dirt and liquid through the suction nozzle and into the recovery tank.

摘要： The invention is floor care appliance such as vacuum cleaner having two embodiments of a dirt particle separating and collecting system removably inserted into a recess in the floor care appliance's housing. One embodiment of the dirt particle separating and collecting system includes a translucent dirt cup having an apertured between two adjacent dirt particle collecting chambers and a primary filter located in one of the chambers. The other embodiment is a translucent bag container and a filtration bag. The filtration bag may or may not be disposable and may or may not have a HEPA rating. When either embodiment of the dirt particle separating and collecting system is installed in the housing, a portion of the dirt particle separating and collecting system is not visible in the area in the front of the floor care appliance. Another portion of the dirt particle separating and collecting system is visible in the area in the front of the floor care appliance. The dirt cup and bag container are translucent so that their interior volumes are visible from the exterior. This allows a portion of the particle separating occurring in the dirt cup to be visible, or in the case of the bag container, a portion of the filtration bag to be visible.

摘要： A cleaning apparatus for cleaning a surface in which cleaning solution is dispensed to the surface and substantially simultaneously extracted along with the dirt on the surface in a continuous operation is provided. The cleaning apparatus includes a base portion for movement along the surface and a handle pivotally connected to the base portion. The handle includes a lower portion and an upper portion pivotally connected to the lower portion and pivoted between an upper position for use and a lower position for storage. A solution tank for supplying a flow of cleaning solution to the surface is removably mounted to one of the base portion and the handle. A suction source is in fluid communication with the suction nozzle for generating suction to draw dirt and liquid through the suction nozzle and into the recovery tank, wherein one of the solution tank and the recovery tank is removably mounted to the handle.
