Abstract:
The present invention is directed to golf equipment packages using a coating that gives a color traveling effect. The color traveling coating can be applied to golf equipments such as golf balls, golf gloves and golf clubs, and to golf equipment display. In addition, because the coating reflects ultraviolet light, it can be coated on golf balls and golf clubs to prevent discoloration under ultraviolet light.
Abstract:
A golf ball including a composition having an unsaturated polymer, a cross-agent, and a peptizer, wherein the cross-linking agent is present in less than about 0.45 weight per 100 parts by weight of the unsaturated polymer. The composition can be rated into the golf ball's core, intermediate layers, and cover layers, and can provide performance and durability properties. The golf balls incorporating the composition are manufacture.

Base polymer of this cover 3 includes a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer as a principal component. Shore D hardness of this cover 3 is 30 or greater and 55 or less. Surface area occupation ratio Y of these dimples 6 is equal to or greater than 0.80. Total volume V of these dimples 6 is 300 mm3 or greater and 700 mm3or less. Average volume Va that is a value derived through dividing this total volume V by total number of the dimples is equal to or greater than 1.30 mm3. Average curvature R that is a mean value of the curvature r of the cross-sectional shape of these dimples 6 is equal to or greater than 16 mm. Average occupation ratio y that is a value derived through dividing the surface area occupation ratio Y by total number N of the dimples is equal to or greater than 0.0022.
Abstract:
A golf ball with aerodynamic coefficient magnitude and aerodynamic force angle, resulting in improved flight performance, such as increased carry and flight consistency regardless of ball orientation. In particular, the present invention is directed to a golf ball having increased flight distance as defined by a set of aerodynamic requirements, at particular spin ratios and Reynolds Numbers. The invention is also directed toward golf balls with dimple diameters of greater than 6.5 percent of the ball diameter and dimples with a profile defined by a catenary curve.
