    摘要： The invention provides a connector assembly for fastening filter elements onto a supporting plate of a press filter, comprising a first cylindrical core, a first flange extending outward from the first cylindrical core, a second cylindrical core, and a second flange extending outward from the second cylindrical core. The first cylindrical core is shaped and dimensioned such that it snugly passes through and is meshed with a central through hole of the supporting plate, and the second cylindrical core is shaped and dimensioned such that it snugly passes through and is meshed with the first cylindrical core. Both the first cylindrical core and the first flange and both the second cylindrical core and the second flange are respectively molded integrally from a non-woven fabric which has the ability of self-sustaining and shape maintenance, and is moldable. The invention also relates to a press filter fitted with the connector assembly.

    摘要： A filter cartridge is described that is designed to accommodate multi-stage filtration, for example dual stage filtration. A filter cartridge includes an outer filter with an endplate and an inner filter arranged within the central axis of the outer filter and that includes an endplate. The endplate of the outer filter includes an outer portion and an inner portion substantially surrounded by the outer portion. The inner portion is axially positioned relative to the outer portion and distal to the inner and outer filters relative to the outer portion. The inner portion includes an upwardly extending flange. The endplate of the inner filter includes a downwardly extending flange. The endplates of the outer and inner filters are arranged in a snap fit connection through engagement of the upwardly extending and the downwardly extending flanges. The endplate structure can provide a filter cartridge with filters of generally equal lengths.

    摘要： A method is provided for fixedly joining a cloth, a cloth-like fabric or a synthetic mesh to a filter plate using a flanged cloth connector ring. The flanged cloth connector ring is attached to the filter cloth around the feed port of the cloth and inserted into a receiving channel in the filter plate. A locking ring or a distribution ring may be inserted into the channel adjacent to the connector ring to retain the connector ring and attached filter cloth in place. Filter cloths may be individually and independently attached to each side of a filter plate using a cloth connector ring.

    摘要： Fluid separating apparatus in which a stack of membrane support plates are clamped between two end plates, each membrane support plate including two elementary plates of generally rectangular configuration and substantially constant wall thickness, said elementary plates being assembled in back-to-back relationship. The elementary plates are joined in fluidtight manner to one another, at least one orifice extending through each elementary plate in the vicinity of at least one end thereof for the passage of fluid to be treated, a first recess being provided on the front face of at least one of the two elementary plates, said recess forming a cell. A chamber is located between the back faces of the elementary plates and perforations through at least one elementary plate provide communication between each cell and the associated chamber and duct forming means provide communication between the chamber and the edge of the support plate. A membrane support and a membrane are located in each cell, with the membrane outermost, and a gasket is located between adjacent membranes of adjacent support plates.
