摘要: A filter mesh is provided that has warp threads and weft threads which are crosswise interwoven and together form a filter cloth having one side facing a filter cake when being in a position of use and one side facing a filtrate drain side. At least some of the warp threads are made of an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. For example, at least 25% of the warp threads are made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene.

摘要: A stormwater management system comprising a floor having a drainage opening and a filter. The filter is operatively attached to a portion of the floor adjacent the drainage opening such that the filter covers the drainage opening so that water flowing from the stormwater management system into the drainage opening passes through the filter. The filter has a filter area adapted to permit stormwater to flow therethrough, with the filter area of the filter being at least twice as large as the drainage opening area.

摘要: A personal protective equipment face covering includes at least one layer. Each of the at least one layers includes at least one fabric material. Wherein, each of the at least one layers of the at least one fabric material including an inherently ionic material. Wherein an ionic charge on the inherently charged ionic material comes from a molecular structure, not from electrostatic charge or triboelectricity.

摘要: A method and apparatus for collection and disposal or utilization as a carbon neutral fuel of fats, oil and grease that includes a first porous container, a second porous container, and a grease trap having an inlet and an outlet. The first porous container is positioned proximate the grease trap inlet and the second porous container is positioned proximate the grease trap outlet. The first and second porous containers are formed of a porous fabric and contain an absorbent, organic hydrocarbon material capable of absorbing a quantity of fats, oil and grease. The second porous container may be positioned on either side of the grease trap outlet (within the grease trap or intermediate the outlet and an exit pipe) and may be held in a stationary manner via a tether and/or a hinged door having a flange for capturing and holding the porous container in a stationary manner.

摘要: A textile and a method of making the same comprising a microplastic collection layer, a microplastic capture layer, and a water resistant protection layer. The microplastic collection outer layer includes a plurality of openings therein for collecting microplastics from a body of water. The microplastic attraction and capture middle layer attracts and captures the microplastics collected by the microplastic collection outer layer. The water resistant protection layer protects a wearer's skin against the microplastics captured by the microplastic attraction and capture middle layer.

摘要: An erosion, sediment and pollution control product comprises a geotextile which includes at least 10% non-plastic non-biomass based inert threads, in particular basalt or glass threads, and cellulose based filler within the tubular geotextile. The geotextile may be knitted. A method of making a tubular knitted geotextile comprises the steps of: supplying non-plastic, non-biomass based inert threads, such as basalt or glass threads, to a circular knitting machine and knitting a tubular substrate which includes at least 10% non-plastic non-biomass based inert threads.

摘要: A brushless system for washing a large flat object having a length greater than a width, the width defining a cross-section, said system including a frame defining a longitudinal path and including a first end; a second end; and a wash chamber positioned between said first and second ends. A transport system secured to the frame and adapted to transport said object positioned thereon; said transport system including a plurality of idle rollers located along said longitudinal path and adapted to support said object as it travels along the longitudinal path; a drive system to provide mechanical transport motion to said object along the longitudinal path from said first end of the frame to said second end of the frame, said drive system being positioned outside the wash chamber; and first end including a loading mechanism to position the object on at least one of the plurality of rollers, and said second end including an unloading mechanism to remove the object from at least one of the plurality of rollers; said wash chamber including an entrance located proximate the first end and an exit located proximate the second end, and a series of high pressure water jets positioned within the wash chamber and adapted to spray the entire surface of said object when such transits through the washing chamber. The entire cross-section of said object is untouched by the system at at least one point during its transit through the wash chamber.
