Abstract: A technique facilitates filtration of solids from a well fluid to during a pumping operation. The system may comprise a downhole pump, e.g. a downhole rod lift pump, having a pump housing through which a well fluid is moved during pumping of the well fluid. The pump housing is configured to receive a filter assembly which filters solids from the well fluid during pumping. The filter assembly may comprise a strainer having a filter section and a strainer bushing affixed to the filter section. The filter section may have a plurality of filter holes sized to aid in the filtration of solids. The filter assembly also may comprise a mechanical hold down having an interior sized to receive the filter section. An external bushing is secured to the mechanical hold down in a manner which holds the filter section within the mechanical hold down.

Abstract: A filter element arranged exchangeably in a filter housing of a filter has a filter medium delimiting an element interior. An end body arranged at the filter medium has a fastening region surrounding the interior opening that communicates with the element interior. An insertion adapter for connecting the filter element to a fluid connector of the filter housing has an insertion sleeve insertable axially into the fastening region of the end body. The inward side of the fastening region is provided with a material that is initially flexible during manufacture of the filter element and hardens later on. The insertion sleeve has a holding element radially outwardly arranged at the circumference. With inserted insertion sleeve, the holding element is arranged in the fastening region. The initially flexible material of the fastening region flows behind the holding element and forms a form fit connection with the holding element when hardened.

Abstract: A liquid filter device may include a filter housing and a ring filter element arranged in the filter housing. The filter housing may include a filter housing cover and a filter housing pot connectable tightly therewith via a housing seal. A discharge channel, a central clean channel, and a vent channel may be disposed in the filter housing pot. The ring filter element may include an upper end plate, a lower end plate, and a pleated star. When the liquid filter device is in an operating state, a pin arranged on the lower end plate may be disposed in and seal the discharge channel via a first seal, a second seal arranged on the lower end plate may be disposed against a surface of the clean channel, and a third seal arranged on the upper end plate may be disposed against a surface of the vent channel.

Abstract: A filter cartridge assembly is provided. The filter cartridge assembly includes a filter head having an inlet and an outlet, an inner moving up or down in the filter head by an elastic unit, and a locking/unlocking part to control the inner to be stopped in a state that the inner moves up and to move down in state that the inner is stopped such that a filter cartridge is detachably installed in the filter head through the up-down movement of the inner, wherein, in order to allow the inner, which moves up or down in the filter head, to linearly move up only to separate the filter cartridge and to prevent the filter cartridge from being arbitrarily separated when the inner moves down. The inner includes an inner main body, and a holder including a plurality of wing pieces, in which the holder formed on a lower end of the inner main body are provided with the wing pieces which are spaced apart from each other to operate inward and outward, respectively, when the inner moves up or down. Each of the wing pieces includes a protrusion for inducing the inner to be retracted inward while tightly making contact with an inner wall of the filter head when the inner moves up, and a holder protrusion formed at an opposite side of the protrusion to hold the filter cartridge. The protrusion of the wing piece releases an operation of the holder protrusion holding the filter cartridge in a state that the inner moves down, and the filter head is provided with an inner groove rim on a portion at which the protrusion is placed in the state that the inner moves down such that the protrusion is inserted into the inner groove rim to be latched to the inner groove rim, thereby preventing the inner from being arbitrarily separated from the filter head.

Abstract: An oil filter element has first and second end disks between which an annular filter medium is held. The oil to be filtered flows through the filter medium in a direction radial to the longitudinal axis of the oil filter element. The oil filter element has a central channel arranged on the clean side and provided with a central outlet opening in the region of the first end disk. A radial sealing element, formed by an elastically deformable inside circumferential section of the first end disk, is arranged in the region of the outlet opening. In addition, an axial sealing element is arranged on the outside of the first end disk. This axial sealing element is held on the first end disk by retaining elements. An oil filter having such an oil filter element is provided.

Abstract: A liquid filter having a housing and a hollow insert. The housing has a dirty liquid feed, a clean liquid outlet and a drainage channel, and is closed by a detachable cover. In the channel, a valve is arranged, having a valve body axially displaceable between a closed and an open position. The cover on the housing presses the valve body into the closed position. When the cover is removed from the housing, the valve body is carried to its open position and then is detachable from the cover or insert and is retainable in its open position by a spring holding element. The holding element automatically expands into the opening position by spring force and engages a spring element restraint holding the valve body in its open position. A force contracts the spring element, displacing the valve body in the closing direction, releasing engagement with the spring restraint.
