摘要： A silver halide photographic material is disclosed which comprises a support having provided thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, wherein at least one photographic layer in the photographic material contains a high molecular weight compound having a repeating unit represented by formula (I) and a solid fine particle dispersion of a dye: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an aryl group; R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 each represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; and M.sub.1 and M.sub.2 each represents a hydrogen atom or a cation.
