    摘要: A process for recovering an esterified cellulose ether from a reaction product mixture obtained from a reaction of (a) a cellulose ether with (b) an aliphatic monocarboxylic acid anhydride or a di- or tricarboxylic acid anhydride or a combination of an aliphatic monocarboxylic acid anhydride and a di- or tricarboxylic acid anhydride, comprises the steps of (i) contacting the reaction product mixture with an aqueous liquid to precipitate the esterified cellulose ether from the reaction product mixture, (ii) isolating the precipitated esterified cellulose ether from the mixture obtained in step (i), and (iii) suspending the isolated esterified cellulose ether in an aqueous liquid to provide a suspension having a temperature of at least 28° C., and (iv) recovering the esterified cellulose ether from the suspension of step (iii).

    摘要: A method and a material for creating an antireflective coating on an integrated circuit. A preferred embodiment comprises applying a dark polymer material on a reflective surface, curing the dark polymer material, and roughening a top surface of the dark polymer material. The roughening can be achieved by ashing the dark polymer material in an ash chamber. The dark polymer material, preferably a black matrix resin or a polyimide black matrix resin, when ashed in an oxygen rich atmosphere for a short period of time, forms a surface that is capable of absorbing light as well as randomly refracting light it does not absorb. A protective cap layer may be formed on top of the ashed dark polymer material to provide protection for the dark polymer material.

    摘要: A radiographic element is disclosed capable of producing a maximum density of at least 3.0 when imagewise exposed and processed in less than 45 seconds. The element includes magenta dye or dyes, including a dye for spectrally sensitizing radiation-sensitive silver halide grains, that leave a residual density at 505 nm of greater than 0.1 when the element is processed. Transmission of red light through the radiographic element when imagewise exposed and processed to produce a viewable image is reduced by the incorporation in at least one of the hydrophilic colloid layers of at least one ionic linear condensation polymer containing a cyan phthalocyanine dye.
