    摘要: A method for producing a molded body of particularly steel, and including a hub and a bell-shaped lower part axially connected thereto, in which an inner contour is made in the lower part by non-cutting forming in a convex region. The inner contour includes of ball tracks and cage paths that are concave in the axial direction and arranged in a peripherally alternating manner, for receiving rolling bodies, the cage paths being shallower than the ball tracks. The hub is formed from a rotating round blank and reducing the thickness thereof using at least one pressure roller. The flat region of the round blank that radially connects to the hub is pressed onto contour segments of a rotating first inner contour tool, partially forming the inner contour using at least one axially and radially moving pressure roller to form a preform of the lower part. The fixed preform is pressed against contour segments of a second inner contour tool by a die of partial dies, fully forming the cage paths and ball tracks.

A method for piercing a radial wall includes simultaneously (a) applying radially outward pressure against a radially inward facing surface of the radial wall, and (b) driving a slew to actuate at least one punch to pierce, along direction opposite the radially outward pressure, at least one hole in the radial wall. A method for forming an object, having a radial wall with holes, includes forming a ring with a radial wall, and piercing at least one hole in the radial wall with at least one slew-actuated punch.

    摘要: There is provided a method capable of producing a wheel-supporting rolling bearing unit at low cost. In an event of producing a wheel-supporting rolling bearing unit, a cylindrical portion formed in an axial end portion of a hub ring is inserted through an inner ring, swing caulking is performed by pressing a die against a tip end portion of the cylindrical portion protruding to an axial end portion side more than the inner ring and an axial end surface of the inner ring is held by a caulked portion formed by caulking and expanding the tip end portion of the cylindrical portion radially outward. In such a way, the inner ring and the hub ring are fixed integrally witch each other. At this time, a swing angle of the swing caulking is set at 15 degrees or more to 30 degrees or less.
