    摘要: Improved bearing roller elements are disclosed. Vanes are added to a ring-roller type element which allow fluids to flow through a bearing assembly in a controlled manner. The fluids can then provide convection cooling. The vaned ring-roller elements allow the creation of a pump, either as part of the bearing assembly's cooling system or as a dedicated device. The use of magnetic spokes in ring-roller type elements which can be used with or without the vanes which allows them to be driven by an electromagnetic field is also disclosed, as is the use of such magnetic elements in the bearing roller elements to allow electromagnetic braking and/or regenerative braking. A bearing assembly incorporating the roller elements in a ring configuration and using pre-load to produce additional benefits is also disclosed.

    摘要: The invention relates to a sealing roller bearing, in particular, a ball bearing for support and working roller bearings on roller stands, comprising an axially multi-part outer bearing ring and an axially multipart inner bearing ring and a number of rolling bodies rolling on the running tracks in four rows between the bearing rings. The rolling bodies are retained in each row at an equal separation from each other in the circumferential direction by means of a bearing cage and the bearing chamber, formed between the outer bearing ring and the inner bearing ring, is sealed at both axial ends against the ingress of fluids and dirt by annular seals. According to the invention, each bearing cage of the roller bearing is embodied as a conventional pin cage, comprising a first cage disc, a second cage disc and a number of pins connected to both bearing discs, whereby the annular seals sealing the bearing chamber are embodied as lamellar rings with a sealing connection to the first or the second cage disc of both external bearing cages.

    摘要: A roller bearing with a cage comprises an inner race and an outer race concentric with each other, a plurality of rollers interposed between the inner race and the outer race, and a cage for retaining these rollers. The cage comprises a pair of annular side plates disposed at the both ends of each of the rollers for supporting the rollers to be rotatable, and a plurality of pins each having its both ends respectively connected to connection portions of the pair of annular side plates. The parallel screw portions are respectively formed at the both ends of each of the pins and large-diameter portions each having a larger diameter than the parallel screw portions are respectively formed on the inner sides of the parallel screw portions on the both sides thereof.     摘要: The invention provides a roller bearing apparatus including an inner ring member supported for rotation on a sleeve, an outer ring member, rollers in the raceway space defined between the inner and outer ring members, and a guide member having roller seats against which inboard end portions of the rollers are seated. To promote roller precession when the roller bearing apparatus is used in an oscillatory application, the roller seats are slanted or pitched in a circumferential direction and at least the inboard end portions of the rollers are provided with non-planar, and in one embodiment frustoconical, end faces. Cooperation between the non-planar end faces of the rollers and the pitched roller seats controls the mean skew axes of the rollers to promote consistent roller precession through the bearing load zone, and enables increased freedom of movement of the rollers to minimize friction. This increases the life of the roller bearing by reducing roller related failures. Additionally, when the rollers precess the inner ring member is encouraged to rotate relative to the sleeve to bring new inner race surface portions into the load zone. This reduces inner ring-related failures.

A rolling element of such a bearing is provided with a substantially centrally disposed cavity within which is supported sensing means adapted to monitor a dimension of said cavity. When a bearing is loaded, the rolling elements will distort and the applied load is a function of the amount of distortion of the rolling elements.
