    摘要: Pressing device for the relative axial displacement of two mutually coaxial parts that can only be displaced towards one another by using a high pressing power, for example collet chucks or clamping sleeves, into corresponding holes in tool or collet chuck holders. The device has a housing (7) consisting of two at least partially separable shells, which can be placed coaxially around the parts to be pressed. In the closed state, the housing has coaxial annular contacting edges (19, 20) for engaging with one of the parts to be pressed. In the inner chamber (21) of the housing there is an axially displaceable pressing plate (22) with an annular contacting edge (23) for engaging with the second part to be pressed. The press plate is displaced by a number of pressure cylinders (13, 14) arranged in a ring at equal angular distances between the housing and the press plate.

    摘要: A spring fixture (1) is provided for quickly installing or uninstalling a coil spring (36) in or from an electrical connector (3). The fixture includes an operation member (11) having a generally cylindrical handle (12) at an end thereof and an action member (16) assembled on an opposite end of the operation member by a screw cap (18). The action member defines a recess (1620) thereby forming a semi-circular bottom wall (1622) and a semi-circular inner wall (1624). During installing or removing the spring, the spring is received in the recess and surrounded by the inner wall. A method of using the fixture to install and remove the spring is also provided.

    摘要: A method is provided for securing a branch assembly (1) to a nulllivenull pipeline (6). An upper part (2) of the assembly incorporating the branch (13) is positioned on the pipeline over a first containment ring/annular seal arrangement (16/17) and a second containment ring/annular seal arrangement (116/117) spaced from the first arrangement to leave an annular gap (118) therebetween. A lower part 3 of the assembly is positioned on the pipeline beneath the upper part and the two parts are secured together so that the seals are compressed. An access point (119) allows the monitoring of the pressure in the annular gap (118) to check for seal integrity of the inner seal (17). If pressure is detected, as a result of leakage of fluid via the branch (13) past the seal (17) the vent can be closed so that the second seal (117) becomes effective.

    摘要: An extractor is provided for extracting a pin or another component which is pressed into a hole and protrudes from the hole with a cylindrical section.
