Abstract:
A hand tool includes a head section which may include a top jaw and a bottom jaw, a handle section which may include a top handle and a bottom handle, a joint assembly which may operably couple the head section to the handle section, and a pin assembly which may include a first pin disposed at a distal end of the top jaw and a second pin disposed at a distal end of the bottom jaw. A high friction surface may be disposed over at least a portion of the first and second pins.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device (18) for bending a split pin (4) for securing the position of a workpiece (2), in particular for securing a castellated nut against rotation. The device has a tool body (22) and a holding component (20) for holding the split pin (4) during a bending procedure. The holding component (20) is mounted so as to be rotatable on the tool body (22). The device (18) has a bending element (26) that is disposed on the tool body (22) such that an end of a split pin (4) that is held on the holding component (20) is capable of being bent back by a relative rotation on the bending element (26), in particular in a manner so as to be flush with the shape of the workpiece (2), between the holding component (20) and the tool body (22).
Abstract:
A power transmission shaft is interposed between a first shaft section and a second shaft section. The power transmission shaft comprises: a cylindrical section rotated integrally with a shaft section and formed cylindrically; a through hole disposed in the cylindrical section and penetrated radially with respect to a rotational axial line, each of a pair of vehicle side rotational shaft sections having an engagement groove disposed on an outer peripheral side of the pair of vehicle side rotational shaft sections and extended in a direction around the rotational axial line and the engagement groove being exposed from the through hole; and a retaining ring (circlip) disposed to enclose at least a portion of the outer peripheral side of the cylindrical section, a portion of the retaining ring being inserted into the through hole from the outer peripheral side of the cylindrical section and being engaged with the engagement groove.
Abstract:
A tool for use in preloading a bearing includes a plurality of arms pivotable relative to each other and a pin extending from each arm of a plurality of arms. The pin is configured to engage an opening of a plurality of openings in a retaining ring. A resilient member biases the plurality of arms away from each other. A first arm of the plurality of arms includes a cavity. A second arm of the plurality of arms is received in the cavity such that an extending portion of the second arm extends outside the cavity and the second arm is moveable in the cavity.
Abstract:
Snap ring pliers include pivotally attached first section and second sections having first and second respective jaw portions, a first tipped part having a first minor tip and a first major tip, and a second tipped part having a second minor tip and a second major tip. A pivot pivotally couples the first section to the second section for movement of the first and second jaw portions between closed and open positions. The first and second tipped parts are removably connectable to the respective first and second jaw portions in first orientations for forming a minor snap ring gap tongue by the first and second minor tips in the closed position of the first and second jaw portions, and for forming a comparatively larger major snap ring gap tongue by the first and second major tips in the closed position of the first and second jaw portions.
Abstract:
A C-type pliers contains a body, two positioning members, and two working shafts. The body is comprises of two clamping handles pivoted together so as to form a pressing end and a working end, the two clamping handles have the two working shafts, and each clamping handle has a hole communicating with an orifice of the clamping handle. Each working shaft includes a recessed neck, and each positioning member includes a peg pivoted in the hole, and the peg has an arcuate fixing section driven by the peg which is rotated so as to insert into the orifice and to retain with the recessed neck of the each working shaft. The peg has a flat releasing section, such that when the peg is rotated so that the flat releasing section faces to the recessed neck of the each working shaft, the each working shaft is released from the peg.
Abstract:
Pliers for C-shaped lock rings include a holding unit and a clamping unit. The holding unit is composed of two handles and a control portion. The clamping unit comprises two identical clamping members and a positioning disk. When the control portion is released to engage with the positioning slot to lock the handle; when the control portion is pushed to disengage with the positioning slot, the handle rotate around the center shaft corresponding to the rotations of the clamping unit, such that the clamping members can be open or closed.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a tool for assembling a securing ring. The tool comprises two adjusting limbs which are connected to each other in a rotary joint and each free end of which has gripping means for engaging into an assembly opening of the securing ring. The tool further comprises a spindle drive provided between the adjusting limbs for changing the distance between the adjusting limbs. According to the invention, the rotary joint is arranged on the adjusting limb ends opposite the free ends, and the spindle drive is arranged between the rotary joint and the free ends of the adjusting limbs.
Abstract:
A pair of pliers that is switchable between first and second mode, the pair of pliers comprises a handle assembly including a pair of hand grips pivotally connected to each other and two connected ends respectively extending from the pair of hand grips; a jaw assembly, which is installed onto the connected ends and adapted to couple to a ring, including a plate having a slider rail and two first jaws joined together, with each first jaw having a channel and a pin which is disposed in and slideable along the channel; and a drive member, which is provided between the first jaws and operable between an original position and a moveable position, including a positioning shaft slideably disposed along the slider rail of the plate.
