摘要： A wheel assembly for a centrifugal blast wheel machine includes a blast wheel and several blades configured to throw blast media introduced into the blast wheel against a work piece. Each blade includes a first side having a first rail portion that extends along a length of the first side and a second side having a second rail portion that extends along a length of the second side. Each rail portion has a locking member positioned on an outside surface of the rail portion adjacent a first end of the blade. Each rail portion further has a contact surface that is configured to engage a surface of a seat of the blast wheel. Each blade further includes a positioning knob located on the first contact surface to prevent the blade from inadvertently being removed from the seat.

摘要： This invention relates to a blast cleaning apparatus and method which includes a laterally moving conveyor with openings therethrough, and particularly a laterally moving wire mesh conveyor. The conveying surface is moved laterally such that there is lateral movement of the conveyor surface in the blast cleaning chamber. The lateral movement is relative to the workpiece and is substantially horizontal and substantially transverse to the direction of advancement of the conveyor. The conveying surface is moved relative to the workpiece so as to expose to upwardly directed cleaning material areas of the workpiece that would otherwise be protected from the cleaning material by material separating the openings in the conveying surface.

摘要： An improved apparatus for washing and cleaning metallic wheels comprising an apparatus that washes a metallic wheel, and an apparatus that subsequently cleans the washed metallic wheel. A house is provided wherein the cleaned and washed metallic wheel may be painted or coated protectively. A pair of rotating transport cylinders is provided in order to transport the metallic wheel from the apparatus for washing the metallic wheel to the apparatus for cleaning the metallic wheel, and subsequently from the apparatus for cleaning the metallic wheel to the house where the metallic wheel may be painted or coated protectively. A method for washing and cleaning a metallic wheel which includes elevating the metallic wheel from a supporting surface to a level generally horizontal to a pair of cylinders rotatably supported by a conveying frame, and rolling the metallic wheel across the pair of cylinders and into a washing chamber. The metallic wheel is washed in the washing chamber, and after washing, a discharge bar pivots within the washing chamber to push or roll the washed metallic wheel onto the pair of cylinders. The washed metallic wheel is transported to a cleaning chamber wherein it is cleaned abrasively with impelled shot.

摘要： Abrasive method for the removal of coatings, such as paint, decorative films, overlays and the like from plastic surfaces, especially plastic laminates. The method operates by utilizing an impeller wheel which is movable at a substantially constant distance relative to the surface of a workpiece. A stream of abrasive particles is directed against the surface, and consists of sharp-edge steel-elastic plastic granules which impact with a velocity between 25 and 100 m/s. The impeller is guided steadily in several passes over all surface areas to be treated. After each pass a visual inspection is performed. Preferably the granules have a hardness of 3-3.5 on the Mohs hardness scale.
