Abstract:
A combination tool with a driving implement and a pick-up implement comprises a tool handle from which extend a driving implement in one direction and a telescopic pick-up implement in the opposite direction. The two implements are constructed and function totally independently from each other. Also described are several devices facilitating the deployment of the pick-up implement out of the tool handle.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hexagonal head wrench assembly that includes a tubular body with a plurality of passages defined longitudinally therethrough for receiving the hexagonal head wrenches. A wedge-shaped recess is defined in an outer periphery of the body and a magnet is engaged in the recess so that a short end of the hexagonal head wrench is secured engaged in the recess.
Abstract:
A fastener is described having a head formed with a recess which accommodates a square head driver, symmetrical drivers, such as PHILLIPSnull style drivers, asymmetrical style cross head drivers, such as POZIDRIVnull style drivers, and combination square and cross drivers without compromising performance of the drivers.
Abstract:
A tool retaining device includes a shank having two ends selectively engaged in a barrel and having tool members detachably secured to the ends for being selectively used to act onto the objects or to drive fasteners. The shank includes an end shaft having a socket opening for receiving a tool member, a bucket secured onto the shaft and having a bore for slidably receiving a casing. A magnetic member is engaged in the casing and includes an orifice for slidably receiving the tool member and for attracting and retaining the tool member to the shaft.
Abstract:
An anti-skip fastener tightening and/or extraction device 10 includes a tool bit end 12 having a plurality of flutes or crossing members 13-16, each crossing member having at least one recess 18 and 26 positioned in a side wall 20,21,28 and 29. The recesses 18 and 26 form edges 36 and 42 that engage corresponding portions of a fastener 17 to maintain engagement between the tool bit end 12 and the fastener 17 when forcibly rotating the fastener 17 to drive the fastener 17 into a workpiece or forcibly rotating the fastener 17 to extract the fastener 17 from a workpiece.
Abstract:
A resilient retainer ring comprises at least two pressing sections and at least one engaging section. Each pressing section presses against a bottom wall defining an annular groove in a receiving compartment of a screwdriver shank when the retainer ring is mounted in the annular groove of the screwdriver shank. The engaging section is exposed to at least one corner of the receiving compartment such that the engaging section has at least a portion engaged in a retaining groove of a bit when an end of the bit is received in the receiving compartment of the screwdriver shank.
Abstract:
A threaded pipe installation tool system for allowing an individual to easily connect threaded pipes without requiring the usage of damaging tools. The threaded pipe installation tool system includes a handle, a female coupler removably attachable to the handle, and a male coupler removably attachable to the handle. The male coupler is comprised of a first body, an external threaded portion for engaging an interior threaded end of a pipe or pipefitting, and an engaging edge that stops the threaded engagement of the external threaded portion to allow for easy removal of the male coupler. The female coupler is comprised of a second body, an interior threaded portion for engaging a threaded end of a pipe or pipefitting, and an interior flange that stops the threaded engagement of the interior threaded portion to allow for easy removal of the female coupler.
Abstract:
A multiple screwdriver includes a tubular body having, at one end, a tip and, at the other end, a cap. The tubular body has an axially extending bore, a first cylinder end in a zone of the tip and a second cylindrical end in a zone of the cap. Between the end of the first cylindrical end and a rim with a hexagonal opening provided at an exit of the tip, a C-shape springy element is located. The internal circumference of the latter circumscribes the hexagonal opening, so that a shank of an interchangeable screwdriver tip can be prevented from falling out. After several interchangeable screwdriver tips are inserted successively through the top of the cap into the axially extending bore and the first interchangeable screwdriver tip has its bit projecting out of the tip, the last interchangeable screwdriver tip is so situated that its top is beneath a hexagonal configuration provided at the top of the switch. By pivoting the switch to the right or left, the hexagonal configuration can coincide or not with a hexagonal cross section of the axially extending bore. If it coincides, the tips can be inserted or let fall out. When it does not coincide, the interchangeable screwdriver tips are confined in the tubular body.
Abstract:
A shank retaining base for a screwdriver comprises a handle, a shank body, and a base mount wherein the handle has a receiving cavity disposed the center thereof for the base mount to be adapted therein, and the base mount has a polygonal sleeve hole and a round pivot hole disposed at both ends thereof for the shank body, a polygonal rod with tool heads of different sizes disposed at both ends thereof, to be sleeve joined therein. The base mount also includes a journal section with a roller bead embedded at the upper section and a flexible means covering the outer side thereof disposed at the middle section thereof. Via a circular guide facet and equidistant retaining ribs with oblique guide edges disposed at one side of the journal section thereof, the base mount is straightly guided and smoothly pushed with pressure to the receiving cavity therein, preventing the bottom side of the handle from getting cracked or broken up in assembly The retaining ribs thereof are securely locked at the receiving cavity therein, refraining the base mount from spinning or coming off from the handle in case of relatively great torque applied onto the shank body. Finally, the roller bead and the flexible means adapted at the receiving cavity therein are protected from outside impact, facilitating the precise retaining of the shank body at the base mount thereof without spinning therein or coming off therefrom.
Abstract:
A screwdriver includes a handle with a shank and a tip end is formed on a distal end of the shank. The tip end includes three tip planes which are oriented in different directions with each other. The tip planes allows the shank of the screwdriver to be engaged with the bolt heads inclinedly.
