摘要： The present invention discloses a high voltage insulating electric tool, comprising insulating handles made of plastic material, and insulating fittings made of ceramic material. The insulating fittings are mounted on the insulating handles in a replaceable manner to directly contact a work piece under service condition and prevent electric shock. The present invention adopts handles made of plastic material and cutting edges made of ceramic so that the entire product cannot bear a risk of breakdown by current in an environment of high voltage. The ceramic cutting edges made of ceramic are replaceable, thereby avoiding the circumstance that the entire metallic electric tool has to be scrapped due to burst, blunting or large clearance of the cutting edges. Further, plastic material and ceramic have desirable chemical stability and strong resistance to acids, alkalis and other chemicals.

摘要： A hand tool having a protective layer and its manufacturing method are disclosed. It comprises a covered portion and a non-covered portion. An outer surface of the covered portion is disposed with at least one protective layer by plastic injection. An outer surface of the non-covered portion is coated with a thin electroplating layer. Regarding the manufacturing method, the plastic injection technique is utilized to form a protective layer at any desired portion. After which, by the electroplating step, an electroplating layer is formed on the non-covered portion. So, the application scope of this invention's protective layer is wide, it will not waste material, and only enhances the holding feeling but also improves the anti-slip effect.

In the entire operation for the plastic handle, the hard plastic layer can be molded from an upper and a lower die in order to reduce the waiting time to do the enveloping process of the soft plastic layer. Inferior products of hard plastic layers can thus be reduced.

摘要： Plastic handles are provided for conventional metal pliers and the like. One of the handles has an outer portion which when put over one of the handles of the pliers has smooth consecutive indentations to fit the four fingers of the operator. The second handle has a smooth outwardly curved outer portion to fit the palm of the operator and an indentation close to the jaws of the pliers to fit the thumb of the operator. The handles consist of a moldable plastic material having electrical insulating properties and having a central opening thereto shaped to fit the plier handles. The insides of each of the handles facing each other when inserted over the plier handles have serrated portions to retain components and the like thereby to provide a holding fixture.
