摘要： A hand-held power tool includes a guide plate including a bearing surface and a top face. A drive assembly includes a drive motor supported above the top face and configured to drive a cutting tool. An illumination arrangement is configured to emit a light cone onto the cutting tool in a direction of travel of the power tool. When the cutting tool is in a locked cutting position in which the drive assembly is locked in position with respect to the guide plate and the cutting tool projects beyond the bearing surface, the cutting tool is disposed in a light path of the light cone to generate a cast shadow of the cutting tool on an end face of the workpiece to be cut, which end face faces the cutting tool and is oriented transversely to the bearing surface of the guide plate.

摘要： A circular saw includes (i) a circular saw blade that is pivotally connected to a rotary shaft and driven to rotate by way of the rotary shaft, (ii) a tool body that supports the rotary shaft and has a fixed guard covering an upper portion of the circular saw blade, (iii) a movable guard pivotally connected to the rotary shaft and closing in a normal state a cutting region of the circular saw blade, and (iv) an elastic connecting member, including a first point connected to the tool body and a second point connected to the movable guard. The movable guard, under the action of an external force, is capable of opening the cutting region. The elastic connecting member includes a rectilinearly stretching segment connected to the first point and a first torsional connecting segment connected to the second point. The rectilinearly stretching segment has a coil spring, and the first torsional connecting segment is a non-coil spring connecting member. The elastic connecting member is designed to be divided into the rectilinearly stretching segment and the torsional connecting segment, so that the excellent axial stretching performance of the coil spring is utilized, and torsion and friction of the torsional connecting segment are avoided, thereby reducing the design difficulty of the coil spring and improving the service life.

摘要： There is provided a handheld circular saw comprising a main body. The main body comprises a fixed blade guard configured to receive a circular cutting blade having an axis of rotation. A graspable handle is arranged in a forward position on the main body to enable a user to wield the power tool in use and a movable blade guard is arranged to surround at least a part of the cutting blade. An actuator arrangement configured to move the movable blade guard from a first position to a second position, where a greater proportion of the cutting blade is exposed in the second position than in the first position, the actuator arrangement having an actuator grip to enable the user to activate the actuator arrangement. The actuator grip is located and arranged forwardly of the graspable handle to enable actuation by the fingers of the user's hand which is grasping the graspable handle in use.
