    摘要: A protectant and sealant solution and method of use thereof, configured to protect wood from premature decay when disposed in contact with the earth. The solution is composed of processed hemp oil which is mixed with bio-diesel and other oils to form the protectant solution. The wood is then impregnated with the solution via pressure treatment within a retort cylinder. The solution is configured to protect utility poles and other wooden construction members which are known for prolonged contact with soil. The solution is designed as a safe replacement for pentachlorophenol solutions which have been found to be harmful to the soil and water table.

    摘要: The disclosure relates to a method for continuous acetylation of wood elements. The acetylation is conducted with an acetylation medium at a pressure of at least 1.5 barg in a substantially oxygen free environment. Alternatively, the method includes the steps of: (a) feeding wood elements in a substantially oxygen free environment to a continuous acetylation reactor, and (b) treating the wood elements with an acetylation medium in the continuous acetylation reactor under wood acetylation reaction conditions, at a pressure of at least 1.5 barg. The process can acetylate wood elements to a high acetyl content in an efficient way, without compromising on the quality of the material. The acetylated wood elements can be used in the production of medium density fibreboards with superior qualities such as dimensional stability and durability.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for preparing a wood modifier and a method for wood modification, and in particular, to a method for preparing a room temperature cured multifunctional wood modifier and a method for wood modification to solve the problems of high construction temperature, high toxicity, poor leaching-resistance and single function of existing wood modifiers. The method includes: step 1: weighing a hydrophobic polymer resin, an additive, a curing agent and a solvent, mixing and then stirring at room temperature to obtain a functional reagent A; step 2: weighing nanoparticles, a surface modifier and toluene, mixing and then stirring, cleaning with acetone, centrifuging, and drying to obtain a functional reagent B; step 3: adding a functional reagent C into the functional reagent A, evenly stirring, adding the functional reagent B, and performing ultrasonic processing to obtain the multifunctional wood modifier.
